Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

As always I had the most amazing stay in Olive! Such a lovely hostel with an amazing chill atmosphere! The hostel is centrally located, absolutely beautiful inside and out, very relaxing common areas, like-minded travellers and great staff! If I could rate more than 10 I absolutely would :)! United KingdomPeople who stay here should be aware that there will be street noise until late 2/3am. If you're not out partying too, pack earplugs.
There is a reason this hostel is highly rated and recommended on blogs. It is like no other. Would stay here again any time. Very chilled, open, friendly vibes.

I have done a lot of worldwide traveling and staying in hostels all around Europe, south east Asia and Australia, this place is greatly located so your close enough to take a very short walk to the centre, bars, restaurants and night life but tucked away enough that you don’t get no disturbances from this. I have never stayed in a hostel where I have felt a place so relaxing, authentic to its country and welcoming as I felt with this place from the amazing environment and space they have with a warm an wonderful team of staff. I wish I could have spent longer in this beautiful home away from home 🥰🇵🇹🥰🇵🇹

PolandEverything was perfect. The atmosphere in the hostel is something else. You feel like at home. Its clean, the staff is nice. Despite the fact that it is a hostel, you still have pretty a lot of privacy. There is a nice rooftop, patio and sitting room. The hostel is quiet with relaxing music. It was my second stay and it was the same as before - simply 10/10. The bed is comfortable, they added privacy curtain to lower beds which is great. I like that the bathrooms are very private even though there are being shared. You can lock yourself in the bathroom and comfortably take a shower or use the toilet. On Sundays you have opportunity to get a massage from a professionalist at the rooftop in a really good price. I payed 30€ for 1hr massage! The location is great. The staff is nice. I slept in many hostels, in many different countries, but this one is the best so far. I recommend to everyone.

NetherlandsDuring my (extended to a week) stay all of the other solo travelers were incredibly social! I made lots of new friends and the cosy hangout spaces like the roof and courtyard facilitate that incredibly well. Rooms are clean and well managed, personel is really friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back!
