Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandAs this proper is near a busy road it might be a little noisey especially at the weekends. After all Coimbra has a large university and Saturday night can be a little crazy 😀 this said I would haveppily stay here again.
The location is great and very close to Coimbra central station and a short distance to Coimbra b. Minutes walk to centre of Coimbra. The owners were so helpful with instructions and even provided me with photographs to access apartment. The accommodation is exactly as described and tastefully decorated. A home that is kept spotlessly clean is always a plus for me👌 bonus: next door is one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere.

Carmen greeted us in person with warm welcome and offered helpful information on restaurants, supermarkets, transportation, sightseeing spots. The host is very responsive. The total areas are ideal for a couple. We are very impressed with the cleanliness all over (exceeding expectation as it's comparable to 4-star hotels, it is dust free). The host's attention to detail shows their sincerity and earnest desire to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thoughtful and artistic interior decors make us feel homey, it is by all means value for money.

Immaculately clean. Brand new modern bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Great view of the river and the university from the balcony. Fabulous location to the attractions of the city, the river, the train station, restaurants and ATM. There is a lift up to the 2nd floor for easy access. Excellent communication from the host from booking, leading up to my arrival, and after I'd arrived. The friendly host Nelson will give you lots of local information and help you with your stay.

MalaysiaOne thing they should improve is maybe sit down with guests on arrival and use a map to highlight what to do, where to eat and how to get around. We felt a little left to ourselves, but when we asked they sent us a message on WhatsApp. Be careful and check the time if going to the university, it's closed between 1-2 and we wasted a lot of time because of this. That's the kind of information we hoped our hosts could have shared with us. Also, they seemed a little taken aback when we asked if we could leave our luggage with them on the day we were checking out. They did keep it, but we felt it was unexpected for them and didn't seem too happy with it. I feel this is a normal request to a B&B. Also, we left on a Sunday and needed to eat, and they didn't give us much guidance on what would be open. There's a big Continente supermarket in the parallel street that has a cafe' and is open also when most cafes were closed.
The place is a real guest house, the owners live next door and the property is a flat with several rooms and a bathrooms. When we stayed there was nobody else there so we had the bathroom to ourselves. Everything was clean and alright, nothing fancy. The location is good, just a few minutes walking distance to the city centre and all can be done on foot. The owners were nice and left us two bottles of bubbly and chocolates as a welcome drink, but forgot to give us a bottle opener...hehe! We got it later that night. They're nice.
