Delightful hotel just outside the city wall. Well-appointed room with small kitchenette. Comfortable bed, good shower and good wifi.

Breakfast was OK, maybe not worth €9. Also missed out on the spa because we got a message that it would be under maintenance, but it wasn't. Beds were little bit too soft, but that's just personal preference.

Ben at the front desk was most rude and not very well suited to his position, his mannerisms were disrepectful and this inspite of me addressing him very respectfully! He was abrupt and short when speaking to me. I had a situation where my husband was in the motor vehicle whilst I popped in to entablish where the parking garage was... as requested I gave him my passport, but Ben was insiting on obtaining my husbands passport before the parking could be assigned. I paid for the parking as requested and after a long confrontational discussion I was issued with a card, however when I got to the parking entrance, I found the card had not been activated. Fortunately another staff memeber helped us. He did not apologise for this error. He is badly in need of training or should be moved to a role with little customer interface.

Loved that the furnishings were modern and carefully provided for. Bathrooms well presented and spotlessly clean. Luis at the front desk was very helpful which cant be said of his fellow peer Ben (refer complaint below). We enjoyed the welcome drink prior to heading out for dinner. The breakfast was most enjoyable with a delicious selection of fruit, pastries and even a full English cooked breakfast.

Many of the staff seemed rather scatter-brained, or at least were not communicating well with each other. Ask a question, and you would get different - and sometimes contradictory - answers. The hotel was VERY hard to spot from the street, with only one tiny black and white sign; we drove past it twice. To be fair, it is very new, and the actual building wasn't yet showing up on Google Maps ... this led to a bit of tension between the driver (me) and my partner (the theoretical navigator).

Clean, comfortable room with a private bath - we stayed on the hotel, not the hostel side. Lovely pool and walled terrace. We were only a five-minute walk to the walls of the old city.

A sleek modern hotel just outside the walls of the old town , 3 mins walk away. Great staff, a lovely room, pool and spa ( pretty limited in fairness) , decent food and a very nice breakfast. I'd recommend and I'd stay again. Fab yoga session, free of charge for guests.

We loved thiS hotel. All kinds of extras we didn’t have time to take advantage like the swimming pool.

Location was fantastic! Great location right outside of old city wall. Parking was fine and safe. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful with excellent English.

Location, just outside walls so quieter, but so close that everything was within a very short walk.We came by bus and it is very close to bus station. The staff were, as one might expect in Portugal, pleasant, welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable and good sized room.

The walls were very thin, you can hear people talk on the rooms next to you, so privacy is kind of an issue
