Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe windows are single glass, so if you're on the street side, you will hear the pedestrian crossing even with the window closed. Also, the rooms are not well noise isolated. My last morning there were new guests next door, which woke me up at 7.
Very friendly employees and a clean room. The hotel is located at less than a 5-minute walk from the Azul and Amarela lines. Walking distance from the Bairro Alto.

TurkeyHowever, the windows are really bad; it was cold and noisy. The shower is non-removable, so it was impossible to wash only my hair; I had to have a full shower.
Don’t want to say any bad word about the hotel, because people who work there do the best they can! Even if everything is old and out of date (come on! there used to be a built-in radio in the room, how cool is that?!) the staff keep it clean and nice. It was funny and sweet to live in a such place, which used to be very scrumptious back in days🌟

Location is good, 20 min walking or 2 metro stations to the Baixa, where everything is very close. Nice and helpful staff. The room was spacious and bathroom was ok.

Czech RepublicImagine a bathroom with a very very old curtain. The curtain always tends to touch you during taking a shower. Looking at it, I could only think of those thousands of nude wet bodies it touched. The only warm food in the breakfast was an omelette or boiled eggs in different days. For this price they could offer a better choice. And the coffee taste was a bit... specific.
Good hotel at the great location and with friendly staff. In generally liked everything there except two things: outdated bathroom and poor breakfasts. Wifi also worked well.
