The room was in a kind of basement.

Friendly staff which unfortunately doesn’t speak english. With hands, foots and translation app we were able to communicate. The location and the backyard are really nice.

The room we stayed at did not have a kitchen anymore, not even a fridge. The ground floor has a shared toilet that unfortunately was always busy during our short stay, giving the amount of people that were staying in the other rooms. Even though our room was very clean, the toilet had a bit of a weird smell and the floor was always wet (but the hosts and the cleaning team are definitely not to blame).

The location is nice. It’s a quiet area, close to the center, metro and busses, a big supermarket, and some restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and the garden behind the house was lovely.

It is quite far from the historical centre of Porto, but we had a car, so it was ok. The wi-if is very unstable. The studio is underground, therefore quite dark. There was a cigarette smell coming from the outside through the ventilation at night.

It is calm area with a beautiful shared garden. The owner is very friendly, doesn’t speak English though. The studio has everything you need for a short stay. It was clean and ready for us on a short notice.

There was noise from the other people staying at late hours, no fault of the property, didn’t really bother us to much but something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper.

Close to casa da Música metro line, felt like a safe neighbourhood and was very clean.

The owner did not speak a word of English, which made for misunderstandings. The room had no outside windows and was expensive for what you got. To be fair, I think I paid more than the regular rate, as I had to do a last minute booking.

If you have a car be prepared to pay for parking - 2 hours maximum in the streets. Free parking nearby is very hard to find.

The Host was very attentive and helpful. Check in and out was easy. The location was excellent, very easy to get around. Walk distance from metro station, restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, shopping center, and atraction, i.e. Casa da Musica - Concert Hall; Mercado Bom Sucesso; among others. If you want a privite bathroom book an apartment (like we did) if you book a room you have to shared bathroom.

The WIFI connection was very weak. The facility does not have a private parking area, as indicated in the description. However, there is public free parking nearby..

The worst hotel experience in my life. The place is like a cemetery. The owner of the hotel cannot speak any language except Portuguese. The pictures on the site do not match. In fact, the rooms are dirty and the bathroom is broken. It is not recommended at all.

For the same amount of money others provide a lot more facilities than this apartment. The worst thing about it was that the bathroom seemed like a temporary thing and the door wouldn't even close in that, it kept popping open. For the price we paid for the place, it was definitely not worth it and you can find places with proper kitchen in that price range. The place had a lot of good reviews which which is why we choose to book the place in the first place but I'm pretty sure the good reviews are only there because the host are elderly and no body wants to rate or write reviews factually about the property.

TRULY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN CHECK-IN! So first thinks first, we just booked this accommodation about 1 hour before we arrived in Porto. We needed the accommodation since we had a work meeting through video call, and we needed an appropriate environment as soon as possible! There were no special requests online while booking, so we thought everything would work smoothly. Since we had booked in such short notice, we decided to arrive at the accommodation later that the check-in hour, which was 16:00 (note this was also stated on paper in the properties entrance door!) So we arrived approximately at 16:15, noone was there, all doors locked and lights off! We waited, and then another couple came and waited for check-in, too.. we had already called the property's number, and no one picked up. There was only a message in Portuguese from an answering machine! The polite lady waiting with us knew English and called again. He answered this time and said he would be there in a minute.. many minutes went by.. he was not there! Finally, almost at 17:00, he came with his wife. He was very impolite to us from the beginning! We were trying to explain to him that we know this was a last-minute booking, but we need a quick check-in because it was almost time for our work meeting!! And we couldn't afford to be late! The polite lady tried to translate to him the situation.. he didn't wonna help at all!! He insisted that we should have called him the previous day and arranged check-in hour with him.. and we haven't, we are not having a check-in!! Of course, the money was already paid! I tried to be patient, but it did not work.. I was practically begging him, and he was insisting that the lady had to be checked in first, and only when he was done with that would he consider checking us in! He actually was looking at me speaking Portuguese mostly, only saying, "No check-in for you!

The pictures gave the impression of a much nicer place. The "appartment" was a tiny room in the basement. The only window in the room gave to a hallway, so there hardly was any air or daylight. No airco or kitchenette (only a sink that was smelly and cupboard with some plates and glasses) as mentioned in the description.

The lady of the house was very friendly. It was old, but very clean. There was a nice garden. Its easy accesible by metro (station at 5 min walk).

• Host declared that there is a free parking near by. That is not true, free parking is only on Sundays. During the week, you can park on the street only for 2h. • Host declared that they speak EN but the person who was accommodating us speaked only in Portugese. The check-in was quite complicated. • The accommodation was quiet old and used. It was hard to recognize it from the pictures. • There was unpleasent smell in the room, which was present for the whole stay.

The accomodation is not as described, I have booked room with sharing bathroom and I got basement room with moist and mold smell. No window, no ventilatin, no natural light. The host doesn't speak English which is a big opsticle in communication. The location pin is not correct, the accomodation is on very busy street, with paid parking on which you can park only 2 hours, there is not a chance to find space on the near by public parking. There is no tv at all etc...

The owner was absolutely rude and intolerant. We had to call him several times to settle a time for picking up the keys. Then we arrived the room was supposed to have access to an inner yard: it was not the case, the room had no windows to fresh air and we only had access to a corredor. Finally, when we get to talk to the owner, we was very disrespectful.
