The only thing I didn't like was that our stay was only two nights. This is a place I would like to stay at least a week, because it's worth it.

Lovely and very cozy place. The location is magnificent - 50 meters from the town hall, extremely close to the historic part of Sintra. The staff are kind, helpful and create a lovely serene feeling. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a wonderful view from the balcony. An exceptional experience at an incredibly low price. They offer great coffee and breakfast. Craft beer is something everyone should try. We would love to come back ❤️

Moon Hill Hostel is located in the heart of Sintra, which makes the train station, local buses, castle shuttles and restaurants within an easy walk. The place was wonderful, great breakfast included, clean rooms and helpful, kind staff. Highly recommended.

The location was very good because it was close to the train station. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast offered was nice. The hostel offered to hold luggage before and after our stay. The staff were helpful when we had questions.

The beds are quite comfortable but the mattress was too soft for me and the sheet was always moving. There were some imperfections on the furniture but nothing critical. there is no wardrobe neither clothes hangers. But there is a drawer chest. The room is situated quite far from other rooms and the entrance into the floor, that's why it was quiet (in other rooms they might hear when somebody is entering as the soundproof is not ideal, but still good)

The staff is very friendly The location is optimal for getting to the railway station and to public transport. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The locks are digital (they provide you with a card) The room is spacious (and even feels empty) and has 3 windows. The air-conditioner helped as the night was not warm outside. there is a tiny private yard (or how to call a place with a table and two chairs) surrounded by 3-meter walls, looks more like a well but provides an opportunity to sit quietly in fresh air. The bathroom is big, the shower cabin is also big enough and doesn't leak. The hot water is great. The linen is good, towels are great (though one of them looked a bit washed-out). The TV worked. The wi-fi Internet connection was ok, the speed was good (though not enough for good video calls) The breakfast is served in a separate room. There are cereals, milk (as well as vegan milk), cheese, ham, butter, jam, bread, buns, croissants, a cake, some fruit, juice, coffee machine, tea, kettle. The best breakfast included in the price for a hostel I have ever had. Thank you a lot! I enjoyed staying here!

The suite was large and airy with high ceilings and a fantastic view. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location is fantastic to walk to everything in Sintra. Highly recommend!

There wasn’t any hot water available the night and morning of my stay. After a long hot sweaty day of walking and climbing miles through the town, I was looking forward to a shower. Even just mildly warm water would have been sufficient, but the water was cold. I checked with the attendant at the front desk and he contacted another attendant, but was only able to recommend that I wait and try again later because maybe everyone was using the water. I let the water run in the upstairs sink and shower for long periods of time, and even checked again at 5 AM the next morning, but there was never any warm or hot water upstairs. When I picked up my bag from the storage room at 11 AM the next day, there was hot water in the first floor bathroom sink. I would also like to suggest that perhaps the door latches can be changed out to be less noisy; especially on the doors that do not lock, there is no need to have a latch engage. The spaciousness of the facility created significant echoes of all noises, and eliminating door latching of unlocked doors (bathroom and hallway corridor doors) would decrease the sharper noise.

The staff are excellent: very polite, very accommodating, and very attentive. The building is spacious and exceptionally clean, and the bathrooms are very nice. My mattress was very comfortable. And the location is perfect!

The showers were push to start ones (like in old swimming pools) and not massively warm but that was just a minimal issue. Everything else was completely fine.

Perfect location - just around the corner from the train station and the bus stops to go an explore all of the sights. Also just around the corner from a lovely little restaurant. Great having breakfast included, just a nice little cold buffet with warm drinks and cakes too. Clean and tidy room, friendly/helpful staff.

The cleaner with the long hair is miserable. Never smiles and slams things around during breakfast. Very slippy when wet … tiles everywhere and you have to go outside to get to rooms and the kitchen, Only 2 hours to keep luggage on check out day then charge €5 … really! Come on guys.

Isolation is not the best . You could hear people in the corridor .however, this did not go through the whole night. With earplugs, it is OK.

The matress quality could have been a bit better, and also the 2 matresses on the double bed came apart from each other.
