Very quiet and comfortable, the owners are extremely accommodating and we experienced a warm reception.

Dora and Tiago are brilliant hosts, they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great - the information about the area was the best we’ve ever seen! You can park your car right outside your front door. There is an easy walk to the town and restaurants and bars etc. the property offers everything you need - and I’m confident saying if there’s anything missing just contact your host and they will address it immediately - haven’t had service like this anywhere else! Comfortable, clean and welcoming!!!!

We had an outstanding experience with this property. The owner was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He greeted us personally, provided the key, and gave a thorough explanation of the property. Additionally, he spent time with us, offering numerous recommendations for activities and dining options in Obidos. The property itself is in a perfect location, just a 3-minute walk from the old town of Obidos. You won't find a better spot!

For self catering it has everything you need. The main room is large and both the main room and bedroom have great views and small terraces to sit out and have a drink. The host, Tiago, was very welcoming and was always available if we had any queries or to offer suggestions. The apartment is located just outside the town walls which makes it easy to reach every part of the medieval town through the various gates.

Because our itinerary this time was to visit many small towns and cities, unfortunately we didn't stop and experience the local life more. The apartment is totally beyond our expectation! It is spotless, cozy and tastefully decorated with the theme of ocean. Once in the apartment, you will feel the relaxing mood. Moreover, everything works good in the apartment. There is adequate supply of daily essentials and the kitchen is fully equipped. Actually, everything is more than what you need. Dora and Tiago are super nice and helpful. Upon check in, Tiago gave us a very detail and comprehensive ‘tutorial’ about everything we need to know about Obidos. They also designed the Mood guide which is extremely useful in planning our activities in Obidos. And their recommendation for restaurants is perfect! We want to thank Dora and Tiago again for their kind hospitality. The welcoming ginja and biscuits are impressive. They are so heart-warming that we are just like having a friend in Obidos. They are not just running a holiday apartment. They love travelling and so know pretty well what their guests need. We deeply feel their passion in helping us to have a wonderful experience not only in Obidos but also in Portugal. Last but not least, we strongly recommend Mood Lodging-Caldas & Ocean to anyone going to Obidos! Don’t miss it! It’s worth staying there for at least 3 days!

It’s a beautifully presented apartment. It really felt homely. We were almost in the walled village with the convenience of being outside it. Just a few minutes walk away with our own lovely terrace to sit out in the morning sun. Parking is really close. The apartment has everything we needed. Our lovely hosts took time to tell us how to make the most of our visit to Obidos.

There online guide was a helpful reference tool. The bed was very comfortable, the location is close to town but very quiet so sleep was a breeze. We loved the welcome gift. The kitchen was well appointed which allowed us to cook in the property. Parking was right outside.

AustraliaThe property is a 5 minute walk from the main gate of the old city and provides free parking. There are a few restaurants outside the walls within a few minutes walk and a supermarket is a 5 min drive away. The apartment is well designed and tastefully furnished, it is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook, the water pressure in the bathroom is strong and the wifi is very good. The bed is very firm but if you like something a little softer the sofa bed is comfortable and the host is more than willing to provide extra bedding. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and met us at the property to show us around and offer recommendations. They gave us some really good cherry liquor, wine and some local biscuits which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend staying here - if it is available, snap it up!
