A large rustic estate in a very secluded area. Very quiet, walk among the vineyards and take in the beautiful surroundings. Near Elvas, a very historic city with some serious forts. Being very near Spain it is said to be one of the most invaded cities in the world. Don't worry, no recent invasions. A very nice restaurant and a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended and we will go again.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We sort of stumbled on it when we decided it was too hot to stay at the hotel in Elvas we had booked and thought a rural pool set up would be better. It sure was!! Top marks for all categories, including meals.

The grounds are beautiful. We had a lovely walk in the morning among flowers, fruit trees, and vegetable gardens. It's absolutely lovely and quiet and relaxing. The pool is also beautiful and a welcome relief after a hot day.

A minor detail – the lighting in the room was more appropriate for cozy atmosphete than for reading in bed. One good light next to the bed would have been very appreciated.

Since the weather was so warm our Suite seemed warm and stuffy at night. Also had a problem with the shower not draining well.

Exceptional accommodations and grounds. Wonderful ambiance, beautifully decorated with Portuguese tradition. Very good breakfast and wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Convenient parking.

A little piece of heaven is what the owner told us this place is, and she was right. Very beautiful accommodation and superbly renovated. The room was comfortable, clean and beautiful. The garden with the pool is a perfect place to unwind.

The place is gorgeous, masterfully renovated and decorated with great attention to detail. Each plant in the park and each piece of furniture is chosen with care and great taste. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant serves very good food prepared with care by the cook with local products. Swimming pool is beautiful and clean. All the owners and the staff were very nice and helpful. We had a brief relaxing stay and wished we had planned to stay longer.

The ambiance is great and it’s cheap for what you get. The suites are private, very comfortable and spacious! It ‘s nice to have your own terrace, but it ‘s also nice to walk in the beautiful shared garden. I loved the swimming pool too. The breakfast is always included! It’ s not an extended breakfast buffet, but it’s enough and they make you your eggs with a friendly smile. It’ s rural and quiet but still close to Elvas.

It wasn’t disabled friendly eg a grab rail over the bath/ shower would help for someone with mobility problems The shower screen didn’t stop water from going on the floor increasing the risk. There was limited parking.
