The details for entering the property were sent late, and we found that another couple were already occupying the room for 3 people that we booked. Fortunately two other rooms were available, but they only had one bed in each, and so 2 of us had to share a bed although we are a group of single people. The heating system is inadequate for cold damp weather, and there is no sink for washing dishes in the kitchen area. There were dirty dishes in one of the cupboards.

This guest house is in a great location for visiting Evora, although no parking available nearby.

Noise from the communal kitchen until way past midnight then again very early in the morning.

The antique style house is gorgeous, loved the old steep staircase. Location is great during the day as it is in the middle of everything, but at night the screaming teenagers hang out just under your balcony until 2 am.

The room was very small for 3 people, bathroom was very spartan and the shared kitchen might have had a couple basic items like tea bags or coffee. Beddings were super cheap and uncomfortable.

Great position and fascinating building, parking can't be near the place but that because the central area is for resident only.

Bathroom is a closet conversion (I think). Sink, bidet, toilet and tiniest shower in 1m x 2m space. Completely functional - but wouldn't work for larger sized people.

Given directions to nearby cheap parking (free overnight - 1 street from accommodation) when we asked. Host responded to booking.com chat questions promptly. Place is 2 min from cathedral and straight onto laneways full of shops, bakeries, restaurants etc. Messaged code to enter and then given key by owner. Minimal instructions needed - room has a welcome book with information on the stay and nearby attractions / meals etc. It was 3-4 flights of stairs (no lift) so good knees needed - but great for us. Good aircon and wifi - great solid window shutters so quite and dark when you want it. Lovely bedroom décor and comfy bed.

The shared bathroom was very dirty and inside the room there was no air conditioning controller.

The position is right in the city center of Evora, in an oldie and fascinating building.

The hygiene was fine, but there were a few small stains on the bed sheets and towels.

It was difficult to get to with a car to drop off luggage. The side street has tables and chairs. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell - either plumbing or not cleaned properly. Not very secure - the door to the room had a wardrobe key - very hard to lock.

The property is right on the main thoroughfare from Praca do Giraldo to the Cathedral and Templo Romano.

The lack of communication with the staff was very annoying. The toilet needs and update. You can ear everything from the neighbors.

There are a lot of churches around whose bells start ringing early

The place was located in a great position, rooms dirty and uncomfortable, after asking the owner to replace our fecis stained towels, we have been ignored all day by the owner. The only positive aspect is we only spent one night in this dumpster

It looked a bit cheap not to provide any soap in the bathroom even to wash our hands. One of the towels was not clean.

The kitchen seemed to be understocked. There was no sugar or any area for getting the water from the kitchen. But other than that it was great.

The stay was absolutely beautiful and I would love to stay here again if given the opportunity in the future.

Did not know we would have to climb 2 flights of stairs. The common room had no water source, dirty dishes sat for a day. We never saw a representative from the hotel to speak with.

Everything was perfect- location, air conditioning, but only one thing upset our staying. The linens was dirty, it was terrible to lie in the bad that was not fresh and clean with hair of previous person who was sleeping. This spoiled general impression(

It took some time to find the parking because GPS showed the roads that were very narrow and seemed to be not drivable. We were driving in circles finally found a spot to park and walked to the location 5 min.

Cozy bedrooms were amazing. I really like the furniture inside of bedroom. The location is amazing I was able to walk everywhere.
