Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We chose the hotel for the location. The higher rated hotel are further from the centre. The location is excellent. The staff are excellent, especially Tatiana, who was exceptional. The breakfast is good. Large bathroom.. Excellent bike storage.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. The hotel is across the road from the Coimbra A station, but there was no railway or traffic noise. Good choice of cafes and restaurants nearby. A very comfortable stay.

Great location, well refurbished and modernised older building at foot of heart of city. Many cafes and restaurants in the street. Lovely bathroom, great shower, comfortable bed, fantastic internet that worked without a struggle. Good breakfast, inclusive in our booking. We would certainly use this Hotel again.

Very clean and great location. Staff were very helpful. Joao in the pub was super helpful to try and help us watch a Rugby game.

United Statesparking. hotel only has 3 places on street near property; then one has to go a few blocks down to a garage, and paid parking. The staff hustled for us to open up a space on the street, but not enough for all guests.
Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Went out of their way to free up a parking space so we would not have to use an underground garage. Room was very clean and "new", hotel was recently renovated and it was obviously well kept.

This is a well-appointed hotel with very friendly, helpful and informative staff. The bedroom and dining room were exceptionally clean and tidy. Breakfast was not extensive but perfectly adequate and very nice. The location is very good; close to railway station, restaurants, supermarket, town centre, riverside.

The breakfast was nice and the hotel is located near to Mondego river. It offers easy access to both the bus and train stations, with numerous eateries nearby. The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional, always ready to assist with a smile.
