You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandWhen we got up the first morning, the owner(?) barked at us that there were three of us when only two of us had been booked in and that we were defrauding him, because we had only paid for two. Neither the concierge (Spanish), nor the owner spoke anything but Spanish/Portuguese, so we were lucky to have a fluent Portuguese speaker with us to explain to him that we had in fact paid for three the night before. He rang the concierge and was nice after he had confirmed that we had paid for three. One of the lamps on the bedside tables didn't work. We didn't get the room we had booked (two separate beds), but had to sleep in a double bed. Online it said we could have a third bed in the room for an extra €15, but one of us had to sleep on the floor (there wouldn't have been any space for a third bed anyway). Luckily there was an extra blanket in the wardrobe. The WiFi was not strong enough for a laptop, so we couldn't use it. The bidet was not safe to use. All the signs in the room were just in Portuguese. Just a warning: the part of the building we stayed in has very steep external stairs. It would not be suitable for people with mobility issues or who cannot strain themselves. You'd want to be reasonably fit to get up there.
I liked that the bathroom was en-suite, even though it had said it was a common bathroom in the hall. The shower was nice and had plenty of hot water. Towels and soap were provided. There was a fridge in the room and the wardrobe was very spacey. Lots of pillows were provided. We were delayed and had to ring the concierge to check in around midnight. We had to wait a while, but he came and checked 3 of us in, even though we had only booked for two. I loved the air-conditioning. It cooled off the room within minutes and was very easy to use. It was quiet, there was no noise from the other rooms or from traffic.

PortugalIn the middle of night and also early morning (like 6:30), we heard big shouting conversations and that disturbed our sleep… besides that, it was comfortable staying so far.

GreeceI told the hotel that I'm disabled. They gave me a room up a steep flight of stairs. I told the hotel my disability is respiratory and that I needed an aired room. The hotel confirmed that they could cope with this but clearly that was just lip service. Honestly, just walking through the entrance hall towards my room caused me to have an attack. The stench of bleach and other chemicals was horrific. I spent the entire night choking - LITERALLY. I was also cold and couldn't find extra blankets. Then, there wasn't so much as a cup in the room to have a drink from. I wasn't informed of the wifi and couldn't raise anyone so ended up using my own data.
The location was perfect for my needs - easy access to both further east and further west along the 125 - which is why I chose Marisol in the first place.

United KingdomTo have to remind to the reception that I had breakfast included on the stay, however they've forgotten to give me a ticket and I had to pay for my breakfast somewherelse. For the next day I had to ask again for it. It was unpleasant to ask the refund for what I had paid. Why on current times this business only accept cash payment!!! How many people carry cash on thesse days? Should be revised by Booking.com to be compulsory card payment as an option too.
