Old building so quite humid, they do have dehumidifiers in every room to lower it which works to a certain level. A lot of menthol scent is used.

Very nice historical accommodation within the walls of obidos. All the facilities, bit outdated, but descend. Pack light since you need to carry your bags up the hill and you need to use the public parking outside the city walls.

The room was being cleaned when we arrived 30 minutes early, but we were allowed to wait inside. The keys were given to us then.

They use a very strong bubblegum-like detergent/soap to wash and clean. Even though it was spotless clean, for us, the smell was terrible and it was worse during the night with the smell in the pillows. Cleaning products shouldnt be that noticeable.

The location was absolutely great. It had some terrace furniture outside that was very nice for us to chill and have a glass of wine. Aircon and humidifiers were really appreciated. I wish we had an extra day or two in Obidos so we could've made use of the pool!

Definitely CANNOT drive to the place! We had an uphill luggage battle but worth it once you get there. You really MUST park in the parking lot where the company advises.

There were staff there for most of the day rather off putting if your using the pool, but I suspect unavoidable.

The house was clean and tidy if small but it's holiday accomadation at a tourist city so we didn't expect a large house for the price. Certainly not for tall people. We had a problem with lack of cutlery, messaged the host then immediately they resolved the problem it was in a drawer of a unit, away from the kitchen area problem solved excellent.

Location – you really couldn't pick a better spot to explore Óbidos, well kitted apartment with everything you'll need for your stay. It was too cold to use the pool but the area was lovely and a nice spot to enjoy the sun.

It was very small, although if the second floor had been full height, it would have been cozy. As it was, after knocking myself on the beams in the bedroom several times, it became too tiny and tiresome. If you or your partner is 4 feet tall or shorter, they’ll be able to stand upright in the bedroom. If not, wear a helmet. Perhaps if management rotated the bed so both people could stand upright, it might help.

Great location and unique, historic remodel. Felt secure and safe. We both loved it.

Nothing to do with the accomodation. That was perfect! Just a suggestion...... As international travellers, we did not know how to get to Obidos and back to Lisbon. Perhaps provide guests with some information regarding bus services?

The location is absolutely perfect. It is in the centre of the Obidos attractions and very close to the bus stop, therefore, we did not have to walk far with luggage. the directions given were spot-on!

The photos did not match the actual room. The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable.

The door code wasn’t working. We had to contact the host to help us, and then the host had to give us their code instead. If we had arrived in the middle of the night, we might had run into a big trouble because of this problem.

Paying Hotel tax difficult process and cost us more money to do perform a bank transfer which cost us an estimated extra euro 15 on top on of the euro 8 tax. Booking.com need to ensure the host has a better way of paying Hotel tax. PayPal is not a safe option due to hacking. When wet the accommodation is subject to water leaking through entrance door.

It was a pain to pay the hotel tax online before they would give us the key code. Doing this on a phone with not great eyesight was difficult. I would have left the tax on table in place like other properties. Also we did not know how far the parking was from the propery until we arrive. Too far to carry suitcases. Had to just take one nights provisions up.

Unable to fault the property in terms of quality and cleanliness. Needed to stay at least two nights. Only issue was getting our bags to the apartment from the carpark outside the walls of the town.

A small but beautifully presented property. The bedroom was quiet and very comfortable, and there was enough space in the living room for two teenage children. Excellent location within the walls of Obidos old town.

Since there is a path to walk over the top of the castle walls the garden and the swimming pool are very public, not a big problem, just something to consider. The Internet was not working, the staff did their best and we really appreciated that but it was not possible to fix it.

Wonderful place inside the walls of the castle. It is small but very cozy. The bed as well as the sofa are big and very comfortable. The garden and the swimming pool are amazing!

Having to pay the city tax for the accommodation via a bank transfer was very inconvenient and took up too much of our time when an international traveller. Clear instructions on how to do this should have been provided initially.

The instructions provided for the self check in were not very well written and there has been some miscommunication with the owner of the apartments, but at the end we managed to spot the one that was meant for us since there are many of them scattered around the same district.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and with all the amenities needed to facilitate our stay in picturesque Obidos. It was also in a quiet part of the village and near the main gate where you could park the car if coming driving to Obidos.

There were some reed diffusers in the room, that we a bit too strong for us. Other than that, nothing to mention.

Location was great, in the middle of the historic city center. It was clean, kitchen had everything we needed. The pool looked nice.
