We stayed there on a Sat. night with a room right above a club/bar which was playing very loud music after 1am and we had to get up early the next morning to get to the airport. We weren't able to keep the windows open to cool off at night due to all the loud noise from the bar below us. There was also a fight outside the hotel as we were entering at night. Didn't feel very safe walking with a child late at night.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Location is very convenient to use the metro and to get to/from airport.

The only negative thing is that our room was on the 4th floor and you need to climb steepy stairs till there.

The staff wasn't great but not for effort, they would try to please any enquiries but just lacking on the little things, I might not be fair on this review because we had just come from Porto and the accommodation was so good

The staff working at the guesthouse are very friendly and helpful. The place itself is very central and lots of restaurants/bars or downtown is within comfortable walking distance. They also offered a free coffee at the cafe downstairs

The toiler was a bit odd, since the ceiling is low (our room was in the attic) but nothing major. Over all was an amazing stay.

Lots of steep stairs to get to the room, located close to shops and cafes but also on a lane way that is a bit noisy and seems notorious for drugs. I was asked to specify if I had food allergies for the included breakfast but was not catered for (gluten free).

Very compact room with nice view over the square. Bed was comfy and place was very clean. Good value for money considering the location.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly. The downside is our room was very small with a very slanted, low ceiling and no space to put anything. We could hear everything that happened in the stairway and common space around the rooms (a lot of inside noise). The staircase also would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast was nice. We had a very nice stay.

The reception and rooms start on the first floor (2nd floor for non-Irish!) and we’re up a steep set of stairs. It’s an older building so really nothing that can be done about that. The area is very busy so there can be a lot of noise outside but this goes quiet at around midnight. Again, it’s a very central location so it is on a busy thoroughfare.

The room I had was a great size. It had a double bed and a pull out sofa bed. Space to hang some clothing. Air con and heating. The room was comfortable and cosy. My room had shared bathroom facilities. The bathroom was large and was spotlessly clean. Towels were provided in the room. The breakfast room was nicely laid out and a sociable space. Breakfast was ample with cereals, fruits, juices, cheese and ham, breads, tea and coffee. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. As a solo traveler this is a wonderful bonus!

Just a warning…the wooden stairs to get to the reception desk and rooms are pretty steep. Heavy suitcases are a challenge to get up.

Both the breakfast and the location were excellent! So many places to explore and eat at that were within walking distance. Loved that there was a security key pad on both the entrance door and door to our room.
