All rooms facing street are Noisy. Back facing rooms best. A top sheet would be an advantage as sometimes a light doona is too much.

The Guest House was clean and very well appointed in kitchen. Nice sunny breakfast terrace. Close to supermarket and 10'15mn walk to Metro and Avenida Liberdade, main thoughafare. Walk to S Jorg Castle.

I was on the road side and as the streets in Lisbon are cobble streets, which means the cars driving by do make a lot of noise, but just put my ear plugs in and slept fine.

Clean room and facilities! Lovely roof garden and friendly staff! Very good shared facilities. Kitchen was clean, had what you needed for cooking (& washing machine), dining table, living room TV. Restaurant just outside as well. The room was decorated well, had wardrobe, TV , bed/s and bedside table.

The lack of lighting in the hallway, especially from the main door up to the first floor, a strip of black and yellow tape at the edge of a step is not very useful if you can't see much anyway. And having to bring and get the key to reception is a bit annoying. I get that since the reception is on the first floor so in theory people could just walk in with a "found" key but I'm sure you could add a different security measure. I may have done something wrong but I couldn't really open the window, I prefer fresh air to AC

The location was good, close to a bus stop , bus every 10-ish minutes (great especially in the evening when you don't want to walk up that hill). Supermarket across the street and a cafe fr breakfast is close too (well two but I have only tried one)

No major complaints, just be aware the rooms of the street side can be noisy because of the road and cars passing but it wasn't a big deal

TV in my room didn't work, again. I was tired anyway, but that should be fixed.

Second time staying here in short period, everything was as good as the last time. Very nice and chill place, will probably come back.

We didn't get housekeeping service in our room the whole time we were there, so no clean sheets (which wasn't a huge deal, but would have been nice to have them changed once), and dishes started stacking up a bit.

The night manager, Carlos, was ABSOLUTELY amazing. He took such good care of us. The room was bigger than expected and everything was very comfortable, even providing us with robes to make us feel comfortable with going to and from the bathroom. There are several bathrooms for each floor, so I never had an issue where I needed to use one and it wasn't available. The bathrooms were very clean and everything was well thought out. They had more amenities than we even realized, like the ability to make us coffee in the morning. We really loved our stay.

TV was not in a mood to start, just like I wasn't in a mood to walk back to the location. Now, TV is a problem while location isn't. It is located relatively close to both, metro station and main square. But, if you walked half a day on "Portuguese" sun, through hilly Lisboa, you will have to go uphill to the Guest House. Such is Lisboa, I guess.

Guest House is nicely decorated. Kitchen makes you feel at home, bathroom is clean. Room had all I needed and was clean. Bed is comfortable. Guys at the reception are relaxed and cleaning lady was helpful. This place is worth staying in, it has its charm.

This is the best hotel I lived during my 15-days travel. Of course, you cannot compare it with other expensive hotels, but considering it’s price, it is really good: quite, comfortable bed items and clean room. What impressed me most is the elder manager during the night. He is very enthusiastic, warm, helpful and patient. I just randomly asked him whether there were taxis in the early morning, he remembered my leaving time and reminded me get up in the morning. I was so impressed actually, I didn’t ask him to do this, but he always thought about our customers. I appreciated him sincerely when I left. It made me feel very warm in such a busy morning.

I very much liked the customer service at the hotel. I arrived in Lisbon early in the morning. I was able to store my suitcase in the property before official check-in time. This allowed me to explore the city right away and come back later in the evening to check in.

Excellent and lovely place to stay, beautiful rooms, very, very lovely, kind and helpful service🥰, central, and a safe place to say. The rooftop garden is just awesome!❤For young people especially recommended, as there is a restaurant belove the hotel, but there were lovely, laughing and kind people joyning the restaurant, so there was no disturbance at all. We are very thankful to all of You guys, as you made our Lisbon stay such wonderful!❤🙏❤

Could have done with kettle in room, but know not a thing for Portugal. Staff made me hot water when needed, and coffee, so was fine.

Lovely rooms, friendly staff, soft pillows. Terrace lovely. Safe for solo travellers, above great Portuguese restaurant, and supermarket across the road.
