Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe were over charged nearly 200 euros for a meal we did not have. The hotel should have procedures in place to audit their invoices before checkout. They did however deal with my complaint quickly and reimbursed the over payment almost immediately.
The room was tastefully decorated and was very spacious with a balcony. All staff that we encountered were courteous and polite. The whole place was very clean with grand decor and marble floors. The cost for each night was also reasonable compared to other 5 star hotels.

United KingdomThe only thing that disappointed us was being billed for the airport transfer which we asked concierge to book for us. When we checked out there was an 80 euros charge. When we booked with Booking.com complimentary airport transfers were listed in the hotel description. This was extremely misleading and clearly not the case. We discussed this with concierge who informed that a number of other guests, who had booked with Booking.com, had also been led to believe the same and were equally disappointed. The hotel advised us to address this with Booking.com when we arrived home. I have written to customer service but have not yet had a response. We have noticed that the previously stated- “free airport transfers” has now been removed from the description on the Booking.com website for this hotel. We feel disappointed that our complaint has yet to be addressed and sincerely hope Booking.com will get in contact with us and other customers who may have been similarly misled.
Customer service very good, beautiful breakfast, pool and gym and great local staff knowledge and recommendations for sightseeing and eating out.

DenmarkThere is obviously not a dress code during the breakfast. There were guest in shorts and even fit flops. It is appalling to see other peoples hairy toes whole enjoying your breakfast. Guest that do not have proper shoes to wear in the morning should have their breakfast in their room.
