There are very little food options during the day (5 sandwiches and that's it) - it should definitely have more options such as hamburgers, salads, and better sandwiches like club sandwich. Only one of the pools has a bar, which means you have to walk there to order, sometimes they can bring your order to you (if they have staff), sometimes you have to collect it yourself. It should be possible to order in the other pools. The eggs at the breakfast were too buttery, it can also be improved.

The hotel has 6 or 7 different pools, all of them are amazing. It's great because you can spend each day in a different spot and all of them feel quite different. The breakfast has a lot of options and all the staff is very very nice. The location is epic, right next to Montargil lake. Lots of different cocktails and drinks to choose from.

Except the staff levels, there is a shortage of staff at the hotel and it showed at times, new staff being trained up and although they were all very nice and helpfull they obviously needed more experience and training. The buffets were generally good but one dinner time the staff forgot to switch on the display food heaters so everything was cold very quickly. Never saw any of the restaurant management during our stay!

All was good, pools and facilities are great, what staff there were were always helpful and friendly. One member of staff in particular, the Portugeses lady at breakfast every morning was absolutely superb never stopped and made sure everyone was happy.

I parked outside and was told I had to park inside the hotel. Such a thing is not possible for my car, because it’s very low and usually it damages the front in most indoor parkings.

The hotel place was very calm, perfect place to relax. I want to leave special gratitude to the brazilian manager that was in the hotel. My boyfriend had an early morning flight and went to breakfast even before it opened. The manager, made him feel very comfortable and even told him to have breakfast. He definitely made our stay, very special. Hope he will see this message, he definitely deserves his position, he went beyond our expectations.

The only thing I can point is that there is a time of an hour to use the spa. And sometimes in that time is difficult to use all the things because there are other people using them

Some places needed a more deep cleaning such as the toilets next to the pool. Also didn’t like the fact that was a fire simulation and they cut off the water and electricity of the hotel without letting the guests know… That was always men cutting off the trees in the morning and through the day which made the pool very dirty that wasn’t nice either

Few recommendations: at check-in we had to wait 60 minutes until 4:30pm for our villa. A little welcome drink to bridge the waiting time would have been nice and up to the expectation of a 5 star hotel. Also maybe a fruit basket in the villa might be nice for 400 EUR a night.

Location is beautiful! The pools are fantastic and the concept of the Nautik Club is awesome. The staff is generally very nice and friendly but we noticed some need more experience. If we could make an exception it would be the lady at the breakfast service who is simply perfect and exactly what you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The food is delicious, complements to the chefs.

There was no food/drink menu list in the room. We ordered dinner snacks once and some were delivered cold (should be warm gambas a guillo) The room service fee should be mentioned in the reception at the check-in or in the service conditions flyer.

The calmness, the vegetation and surroundings really makes it feel like a resort. The food was really good. Wide variety in the breakfast buffet with local products (the honeycomb!), the live piano during breakfast, the dinner buffet also well served and the a la carte restaurant with the superior touch of the chef using the traditional Portuguese food specialties from which we highlight the coelho de escabeche, the risotto de cogumelos trufados and the mil folhas de pastel de nata com moscatel!! Spa circuit and the wellness massage options. Really good cocktails and bar service.

Pillows are old and gone bad, they need to be replaced. Restaurant was hit and miss, we were disappointed. Rooms needing minor maintenance, such as loose toilet lid, wall areas that need paint, etc.

Good sized room with soft bed and view to the lake. Spa and pool included in the price. The location is also quite good, close to center of montargil and the lake. EVs can use wall plugs in the garage.

The way to the indoor pool is through the outside, not ideal when you have small kids. The room could have small renovations. For the 4 days we were there the elevator was broken which was again not ideal when you have to use a stroller.

We loved our time there, the breakfast was very good with some menu items cooked as we wished. The indoor pool was huge and warm. The rooms look nice and big at first impression.

Slightly labyrinthine layout. The fact that you can access the indoor pool through an external access doesn't make much sense. The food at the bar, although reasonably priced, could be of higher quality and served quicker. Some areas require maintenance.

Spacious, comfortable room with good soundproofing. Very pleasant and well-kept outdoor landscape. Breakfast with good variety and quality. Very friendly staff.

The access to the indoor pool was from outside. In bad weather and raining, this was very bad, especially for our young child. Spa staff was not very nice in contrast with the rest of the staff. It felt like we were doing them a favor going there
