Everything was great, especially for the price. It exceeded my expectations. I would bring my own hair dryer next time as theirs was kinda weak and a pain to use (I have a lot of hair) as you have to hold down a button when operating it and my hand kept getting tired. There’s no pool although they have space for it in the garden area. A pool would be a nice addition.

Amazing price for the quality. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The breakfast was FANTASTIC, the staff was genuinely kind and friendly and spoke great English and Spanish to my group, switching between languages with ease. Also they changed our towels and made our beds daily, something a lot of other hotels have stopped doing since the pandemic unless you specifically request it.

I do not recommend this hotel if you are not renting a car. It is quite difficult to get around by foot, it can take a minimum of 40 minutes to get to the centre of porto by foot. There is a bus stop close by so it does compensate in that regard. The staff wasn't so friendly but they did do their job

The room is clean and the breakfast is pretty good! Has a decent selection of foods. My room had a great view and I really enjoyed that! You can see a beautiful sunset. I slept well, although you can easily hear the other rooms on each side so if you are sensible to noise maybe not the greatest option.

This time for some reason we were given a room with a bathroom that had not been completely cleaned. Went downstairs to ask about it and they promptly changed us to another room and I checked that and that bathroom had not been completely cleaned. So the third time staff walked up with me to find a third bedroom that was appropriately cleaned. First time we've ever experienced this with Ibis.

We like you just because we usually know what to expect small but clean rooms and a nice selection of food for breakfast.

The location only works if you have a car, otherwise is difficult to access and not easy to walk around. Hotel rooms are extremely small and basic. Did have a nice view of the river and city, but would probably pay a bit more to stay even at the hotel right across that is part of the same chain.

The property is clean and has an excellent breakfast. Parking is easy. Most staff were friendly.

As a vegan person with some food restrictions (gluten and lactose), the food options were poor or nonexistent. With the wide variety of plant-based food, the hotel would win a lot by making those available for their guests.

The room had all the necessary commodities and the staff was quite friendly and polite. Everything was spotless clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice view towards the Douro river and one of the bridges.

The hotel rooms at the Ibis Hotel in Porto were very clean, bed linen and towels were changed regularly. The rooms were a bit small, we missed a shelf or a closet where we could put our clothes. The breakfast was quite rich, we were satisfied with a large selection of pastries, bread and fruit. There was also a nice selection of teas, jams, about five different salamis and cheeses, yogurts, cottage cheese, etc. So on the day of our early departure, we were quite disappointed with the contents of the early morning takeaways. When we ordered them the night before we left, we specifically asked for sandwiches, fruit - we specifically wanted bananas and some juice. We only got 2 small pieces of sweet pastry, no sandwiches, one orange was rotten, so was one pear. Oranges are hard to peel if you're traveling, while bananas are much easier to eat on the go. Unfortunately, we only opened the packages at the airport and were disappointed with both the quantity and the content and quality of the prepared breakfast packages. The bar staff were quite unresponsive in terms of serving drinks in the evenings when we sat in the lobby.

The room was 'compact' to say the least, in fact rather claustrophobic, with a very little, open fronted, wardrobe space and no other clothes storage, so our clothes remained in our suitcases, which were tucked under the desk.

The location was good for our visit to Porto, and the receptionist was outstanding in helping us to make the most of our visit. She really made the difference to our short stay. The hotel is very modern and the breakfast was excellent, and the provision of power points for lap-tops/phones was good.
