We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PortugalWe decided to have dinner at the hotel. My husband ordered the salad. He only noticed at the end of the meal that it contained sesame seeds which he is allergic to and has had to have hospital treatment in the past. There was no mention of this in the description. He immediately called a member of staff who didn´t seem to speak neither Portuguese or English very well to be able to clarify if the salad did in fact contain seeds. Luckily he didn´t have an allergic reaction this time but perhaps it would be advisable to include seeds in the description of the salad. We were not charged for the salad but would have preferred not to have had the worry.
Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. An amazing view of the sunset over the river just outside the hotel.

SpainEverything was great, especially for the price. It exceeded my expectations. I would bring my own hair dryer next time as theirs was kinda weak and a pain to use (I have a lot of hair) as you have to hold down a button when operating it and my hand kept getting tired. There’s no pool although they have space for it in the garden area. A pool would be a nice addition.
Amazing price for the quality. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The breakfast was FANTASTIC, the staff was genuinely kind and friendly and spoke great English and Spanish to my group, switching between languages with ease. Also they changed our towels and made our beds daily, something a lot of other hotels have stopped doing since the pandemic unless you specifically request it.

United KingdomI do not recommend this hotel if you are not renting a car. It is quite difficult to get around by foot, it can take a minimum of 40 minutes to get to the centre of porto by foot. There is a bus stop close by so it does compensate in that regard. The staff wasn't so friendly but they did do their job
The room is clean and the breakfast is pretty good! Has a decent selection of foods. My room had a great view and I really enjoyed that! You can see a beautiful sunset. I slept well, although you can easily hear the other rooms on each side so if you are sensible to noise maybe not the greatest option.

PortugalThis time for some reason we were given a room with a bathroom that had not been completely cleaned. Went downstairs to ask about it and they promptly changed us to another room and I checked that and that bathroom had not been completely cleaned. So the third time staff walked up with me to find a third bedroom that was appropriately cleaned. First time we've ever experienced this with Ibis.
We like you just because we usually know what to expect small but clean rooms and a nice selection of food for breakfast.

United StatesThe location only works if you have a car, otherwise is difficult to access and not easy to walk around. Hotel rooms are extremely small and basic. Did have a nice view of the river and city, but would probably pay a bit more to stay even at the hotel right across that is part of the same chain.
The property is clean and has an excellent breakfast. Parking is easy. Most staff were friendly.
