Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalOddly enough, the cover of the duvet was not clean and we had to ask for a replacement, they apologised and replaced it. I say "oddly" because I stay at Ibis regularly (but it was the 1st time at this one, it was a same day booking and my usual was fully booked) and it's always very clean
Breakfast buffet was great, as is the norm with the Ibis group (in Portugal); staff was young and correct, all very nice.

GermanyYou should charge people with dogs the Euro 15 who don't pick up their dog shit and not charge those who do.... 2 double espressos and a single espresso for Euro 7,50 is expensive when compared to the same coffee being served and tavernas. The bed's duvet was clumpy - I recon they washed it incorrectly and the pills were "tired" and need to be replaced.
Staff was super friendly, reception, service and housekeeping. Dog friendly is a great added bonus.

CanadaThe beds were not as comfortable as the beds in other Ibis hotels.
We found parking spot very easily. Our rooms were ready when we arrived so we were able to get settled with our bags before we spent remainder of day in Sintra. Staff were helpful in pointing out where breakfast was served and where to locate our rooms. We did not use the breakfast as we had an early departure for the airport the next morning.

PortugalThe price is high for the room. I have arthritic fingers and had great difficulty in using the flush in the bathroom. I'll send you the picture to exemplify. These appliances were not made for people of all ages. The parking was payed extra, eventhough it was in the building. Guests should not have to pay for parking, specially at the price we payed. I've been in hotels of better installations with breakfast and parking included and payed less.
The room was confortable, and the bed good. The pillows were a bit high for me, I have neck problems.

PolandIt was quite surprising to discover that a bathroom was a plastic built-in "capsule" - more resembling the one from camping mobile homes. Noises easily heard from the other rooms.
Standard business hotel, it was decent for a short stay, a bit outdated, could use a renovation to make it more modern. Breakfast was OK but with quite limited options. Good WIFI connection. There is a small, narrow parking in front of the building (free-of-charge but you need to be lucky to find a spot) and there is also underground parking, paid option ~3 EUR per day.

SpainPillow and bed could be more comfortable. Parking should be exclusive to customers and not shared with another business across the street during working days. There is always a great possibility that when you try to park at the hotel you will not find a spot to do it.
