Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomApart from the fact that the room was a little tired looking, the shower basin was quite slippery and the water accumulated very quickly almost going over the edge & onto the bathroom floor, because it wasn't going down fast enough.
Just a perfect location to explore a beautiful part of the city. Lovely & helpful staff. The room was a little tired , but fine & clean.

Perfect location, you can walk out the door and around the corner to be on one of the main shopping areas. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They refill a bottle of water for your room after every room service clean which we appreciated.

NorwayThe bathroom is super small, it's almost dangerous to shower there, if you turn around your elbow can touch the hot or cold lever. I'm not a big figure. The electric outlets are far away.
The location is great, but not much of a view. But I had a patio, big plus! And the staff is very funny and cool. I've been there two times.

PortugalThe size of the bathroom is a joke. You must sit sideways on the toilet, and the sink is so narrow that with the faucet and the shelf above it, it was almost impossible to use it other than for washing your hands. The room is a compact but comfortable size. The whole reception and lobby area has a strong odor of sewage, and that was a very bad first impression when you check in. I stayed for 2 nights and it did not change. It is hard to imagine that this is a TURIM hotel. Not a good advertisement for the company. They should call it something else, or just remove the “TURIM” to avoid bad reputation.
Location is fantastic, and so are the reception and lobby areas. Quiet street. Clean.
