Keep in mind that if driving to the hotel, construction is underway for public transit nearby. After dropping off suitcases, parked car in underground parking lot - only 1 block away.

Very central location with lots of restaurants close by. Enjoy a walk up (and up) to the University. There is a couple of parking spots out front to drop off your suitcases. Staff very friendly.

Nice but somewhat basic accommodations. Front desk staff truly went above and beyond helping us. Somewhat difficult to find as it’s a little off the main drag and there is quite a bit of traffic on that street. Parking in a nearby garage. Breakfast was good.

Room was spartan. It had everything you needed, but not even art on the walls (they did make up for it in the public spaces).

The man at check-in was incredibly helpful. They had tea in the room and breakfast tea at breakfast with boiling water (instead of orange pekoe and barely hot water). Great location with convenient parking arrangement. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had plenty of hot water.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the room exceeded expectations. the location was wonderful: Just opposite the train station and in the old town.

Hotel has no on-site parking, but makes this clear from the onset. Parking is 10 euros a day about two blocks away, tight, but underground and safe. Bed was kind of stiff. Lots of noisy, nearby construction, but not the hotel's fault, certainly.

Took us a bit to figure out how to get to the front of the hotel - the street doesn't look driveable, but it is Very well located for walkable touring. Helpful, friendly staff offered directions and suggestions for sights and dining. Room was compact, but doable. Breakfast is buffet style, well-tended and quite adequate. Coimbra is hilly and steep. Visit the Mercado and then take the elevator/funicular to the university.

It would have been nice to have teabags in the room in addition to the coffee. Also, a top sheet on the bad (in addition to the duvet) would be nice too.

Very convenient to the train station and the pedestrian areas. Very clean. Great shower!! The staff was very friendly and helpful at checkin. The breakfast was nice also.

Very drab room, a bed, a TV, small cabinet and a small bathroom which had great hot water.

Staff was very helpful and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offerings were great. The hotel is well located and close to all the major sights as well as the train station. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Location was exceptional. Staff, especially Carla, were the best. Rooms were good size with en-suite. Ours appeared to be recently renovated. Breakfast was very good. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Walk to all the sites in Coimbra.

Staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to orient us to the city. They provided advice and suggestions about significant characteristics of the area and major tourist attractions. Staff were also very helpful in arranging bookings for us. A substantial breakfast was included. The hotel was centrally located in the historic precinct and within easy walking distance of Coimbra station.
