Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThe entrance of the hotel might need to be rethink to accommodate individuals with limited mobility. Going up and down the stairs with luggage was challenging for me.
Great location and a few steps from the train and bus stations. The rooftop restaurant was great. Special mention to Patricia one of the servers who was very attentive. She provided recommendations on activities or locations to visit. None of her ideas were disappointing. The room was a good size for 1 person. The marina was just across. Ideal location.

United KingdomThe public toilet from the main lobby was a long walk down a corridor and across an inner courtyard not as clean and in keeping with the hotel.
Breakfast was wonderful, a great choice of hot and cold foods, tea, coffee and fresh juices also. The location of the hotel was excellent and a short walk to the harbour and old town. We would like to visit again as we only had one night before moving along the coast. The staff were pleasant courteous and friendly and I would be happy to recommend to friends and family.

United KingdomThis is NOT a beach club. There is a shuttle to the beach club but it is not owned by the hotel and as a guest you will still be charged for the facilities. Very misleading. Restaurant team at breakfast were friendly but sadly the same cannot be said for the team covering the restaurant at night. Quite rude and sullen at times.
Location. Plenty of shops/bars/restaurants within walking distance and just up the promenade there are several huts selling various boat tours. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the rooftop terrace is a great location for breakfast.

Very good location, close to the bus station, town attractions and had a gorgeous view across the water and harbour. The staff were super friendly and lovely, there was a lady - maybe Deborah? She was so kind and gracious when attended for lunch time in the restaurant. The pool was beautiful and plenty beds to rest on. Loved loved loved the use of rituals products!!!

BelgiumThe bathroom had no hooks and no rails for towels whatsoever. The reception staff were not terribly well trained in communication. The restaurant had poor waiting service, it was a set menu but was so slow that we gave up on desserts despite the hefty price for the menu.

United KingdomThere was only one chair in a room for 2 people, another would have been nice. When on the rooftop in the evening we found the staff weren't attentive if you just wanted drinks, we had to wait quite a while for someone to serve us. The hairdryer isn't great if you have lots of hair to dry, take your own. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack in the room with opening and closing times of breakfast, the bar, the pool, menus or local attractions.
We liked the views from the rooftop bar and pool. The breakfast was very good and there was lots to choose from each morning. The location was perfect for exploring and day trips. The hotel was spotless and the room was cleaned everyday.

United StatesThe pool is tiny and beach access is not as it seems when they say they have “beach club access” - you have to take a shuttle that doesn’t run on Sundays or Thursdays and the drive takes a solid 15-20 min. The “club” is essentially a restaurant with lounge chairs that you must pay for. You also must bring your own towels, which the hotel didn’t tell us even though we told them we were heading to the beach club. The people at the beach club said that the hotel routinely doesn’t inform guests of how it works. Some of it may be our expectations having been too beach clubs in Italy and Croatia. Supposedly we were supposed to get a discount on food as well, but we did not. If we could do it again we would figure out how to take a water taxi or ferry to one of the beaches in the ria Formosa preserve where the beach wasn’t as steep.
The hotel is located right in the marina in Faro and the streets around it are cute and there are lots of great restaurants.

ItalyMinor staff such as the swimming pool on the roof top Is a bit small and there Is no shade around It. We were not given information about the hotel beach club.
The staff, the location, the room with very comfortable bed, the silence. We used the sauna, steam bath everything was nice and clean. We did not used the Gym but It was well equipped. Breakfast buffet was also nice.The hotel Is right in the center of Faro, 2 mins from old Town and 5 minutes walk from the ferry to Faro Beach and the islands. We were given access tò the room 1 hr earlier and could wait on the roof top for out pick up time on check out date.
