Heavy stale cigarette smell but only in reception area. Cheap looking Rough renovations but adequate furniture and amenities.

Not many facilities, but that makes sense given the low price. Breakfast not provided, but can be found easily from nearby street markets or cafes.

Great location and price. Easy walking distance to the river and city centre, and located in a nice part of town with fewer tourists and more affordable places. Friendly staff, everything managed efficiently.

For the cheap price couldn’t complain.

I HAD PRIVATE ROOM - basic but good - nice clean bedding each day - good powerful hot shower - host provided heater on demand and even put an extra blanket on my bed when I was out. Great location with best cafes and public transport nearby.

The system of letting people inside the Guest House needs a major improvement as you're not given a key or code to the door but have to ring the doorbell (even in the middle of the night) that can even rise the dead to life. Also, the premises are pretty basic, interestingly it seemed to me that our bathroom was placed in what used to be a balcony/loggia.

The reception Staff were extremely nice and hospitable, going an extra mile to help you any way they could. They printed our boarding passes and as a goodbye gift gave us a parting present; a little sample bottle of the local winę. What's more, the place is reasonably centrally located and quiet, a rare find. About 10 min walking distance from the city's attractions. The prices of accommodation - very reasonable.

Bathroom needs some repairings, there was no place to put soap in the bath (probably liquid soap would be a good idea)

It's a very old house. Items are very old. There is no ventilation in the rooms. You can only get air from the bathroom window. There is no air conditioning. Too noisy. You wake up early in the morning due to the noise of the cleaners. No coffee and tea facilities in the rooms.

Good location. Walking distance to many places.Sheets and towels were very clean.

Would be good to have a key for the front. Could do with the electrics updating.

Good location, lots of bars and cafes nearby. Internet worked well. Not far from the riverfront and other interesting places. There was a fairground at the bottom of the street when we visited.

The bed was quite small and not the most comfortable and at times there was a musty smell and smell of cigarettes. It’s quite noisy when people come and go from the building so ear plugs are a good idea.

Location, good wifi, pleasant staff and low price so good for travelling on a budget. The shower was hot and good pressure and felt secure in the building with 24h desk and buzzer to enter at night. It’s fine for a short stay.

in the room there was a sink and a bidet where people must have peed because it smelled quite strong in the room, although it was clean. The shared bathroom has a bath tub, not a shower. Quite noisy because of the street window.

The owner of the place was very kind, offered us to leave our suitcase there for free indefinitely and without obligation, we accepted the offer,we left our suitcase for 10 days and left to camino portugez coastal
