Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesAir conditioning didn't work, but didn't realize it until woke up warm in the night. The power light was on, made noise like it was running. Had to open window (only opens about 4 inches) to cool down, but was too noisy and had to close it. Thought I read there was an airport shuttle when we booked this hotel, but then when we got closer to our date saw on website there is none. Uber was about 6 euros to airport before tip.
The 1st day we had best pain au chocolat and custard tart pastries of the trip. They were still warm from the oven. 2nd day the pastries changed a little, but were still very good. Breakfast runs from 6am to 1030am which is great since you have to leave early for morning flights.

We enjoyed the location which is super convenient for getting to the airport, when you have those very early in the morning flights. The room was nice and we could have some rest. We also liked that breakfast is served from 6am which is convenient as well.

United KingdomThere was nothing I didn't like. Obviously it's a budget chain hotel so it's not going to be extremely characterful, but it was very nice for what we needed, and we would gladly stay there again.
Amazing breakfast buffet. Very pleasant and efficient English speaking staff. This was a very quick layover stop, very convenient for the airport, and they helped us book a transfer from the airport and they arranged transport back to the airport the next morning. Extra toiletries were free upon request, e.g. toothbrush and toothpaste.

United StatesThe airport shuttle is not free which is what you expect for an airport hotel that advertised they have a shuttle . In fact it was a 20€ van ride for a 5 minute ride! I had a surfboard so I think they charged me 10€ extra as I heard the driver asking 10 € from the other people. Still is was a lot and for me the shuttle was the main reason I stayed there. The location is in a very ugly industrial park with nothing near it.
It's an Airport hotel, so it's great for that place to stay before your flight.

CanadaIt is a clean, quiet airport hotel, fairly modern, perfect for a stop over between flights. It would be also a good place to hold a business meeting. Not sure where the negative reviews come from. Indeed it is not a place to use as a base for exploring Lisbon, but it was not intended to be that! It is in an industrial area. Easily reachable with Uber (6 euros or so) and offer shuttle to the airport (5 euros). An amazingly diverse breakfast is included in the price. The restaurant offers dinner. No, not fine dining, but not intended as such. Simply adequate. The objective is to rest between flights. On our way back to Canada, we almost missed to select this perfectly adequate hotel due to some negative reviews. … sigh…
