Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The apartment was roomy and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing. We were so excited for our bag of rolls, croissants and pastries each day and it was so fun and easy to make our own fresh squeezed OJ. Would stay here again for sure!

The room was spacy to accomodate all four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). It was very clean. The staff at the reception was very helpful. Regarding location, the hotel is located in the center of the city with many things to do and see within walking distance. The road outside the hotel is closed for cars, so it is really quiet.

There was good communication with the staff prior to arrival and we were able to store luggage before check-in. Overall the staff provided excellent, efficient service and were very amiable. We had just finished a cruise and an illness from the ship worsened. The GHPA staff were outstanding in organising an English speaking doctor to visit us almost immediately for diagnosis and treatment. Our two bed apartment on the 5th floor was very comfortable and set in an excellent configuration and condition. Everything needed was there to use including awaking machine/dryer. The apartments were serviced every day with great care. The breakfast provided was simple but filling. The fresh bread rolls, crossaints etc were delicious. I would highly recommend staying here anytime you are in Lisboa

Exceptional stay - great location and facilities. Reception staff gave useful tourist information and went out of their way to be helpful when one of us became unwell and needed medical care. Loved the breakfast goody bag and the fridge supplies .

We arrived late in the evening and received a friendly welcome from the front desk. The duty person showed us to our room and explained how everything worked. He also showed us the complimentary bottle of wine that they had given us which was an excellent touch. Often accomodations look better on-line than they actually are with elaborate descriptions and photos. However this one exceeded our expectations - it was very clean and comfortable. Our room had two doors each leading to very small decks with just enough room to stand. It was great to be able to open our room to fresh air and stand on the deck watching the world go by. The location on a level street in the old town was perfect. We could walk to the waterfront, to Alfama and Bairro Alto easily from this location (albeit you need to be fit enough to walk on quite steep streets). The breakfast breads delivered to our room each morning complimented the cheese, eggs and fruit replenished in the fridge each day.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the city and transportation was not an issue at all. The food around us was great as well. I totally recommend this place for anyone going to Lisbon for the first time.
