We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Beautiful INN! Cozy and comfortable. Bedroom looked out to the ocean. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and delicious breakfast with many options. Fresh fruit and bread, cheese, deli meat, coffee, tea, juice, eggs and bacon!

Extremely comfortable and friendly guesthouse which served as a perfect base for our two weeks in Sao Miguel. The staff / owners are a wonderful cast of characters who did everything and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Superb customer care throughout and the fresh produce, cakes and cooked eggs and bacon at breakfast was the delicious icing on the cake. Thank you for a superb two weeks.

United StatesPerhaps they could say more about hpw far they are from town and recommend you rent a car? The town really should have uber and it eouldnt be an issue.
Breakfast was great.The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to be helpful. The only issue was location. It was a 40 min walk to the city center for shopping and restaurants and the road to get there was somewhat sketchy. It would have been fine if we'd had a rental car and street parking didnt look like a big problem. However, our first night we couldnt get a cab from town back to the inn (theres no Uber etc in this town). So we called the inn to call a taxi for us, but the owner actually came and picked us up instead. Extremely kind and friendly people.

United StatesMy partner and I stayed 5 nights and had a great experience. We stayed in room #7 with the Oceanside view and it was well worth it. The location was quiet, clean, and we felt safe. Noelia, the housekeeper, did a superb job of keeping our room clean throughout our stay. The breakfast was so good! Every morning there was fresh fruit, cheese, bread, ham, prosciutto, etc. Steven and Louisa offered coffee, freshly cooked eggs and bacon every morning. Really a great breakfast. Mike had great sight seeing advice for us and lent us a map. Enjoyed the more local experience rather than a disconnected large hotel

About 10min drive from the airport - Sao Roque area, about 30min walk to Ponta Delgada town centre(but beautiful walk along the coast), 10min walk to a very beautiful and large beach. If planning to rent a car which most will do do not worry about distances as everything is close. Very beautiful view from our balcony. Clean and cozy room. Staff were extremely nice and welcoming, on our last day as we already checked out they have stayed around to watch and take care of our luggage as we had to leave them there for about 3h. Breakfast has been very tasty and they offered very good quality products: good coffee, bread, fruits/fruit salat. This would be our top choice when will go there again.

Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. We arrived very late after being involuntarily bumped from our flight. Steve was more than understanding and Luisa helped us in at 1:30am. The hotel and room were clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. A beautiful sea view from our room. Teas, coffee, and wine were in our room when we arrived. Breakfast was excellent. A variety of choices each day: fruits, rolls, meats, cheeses, yogurts etc, in addition to eggs and bacon made to order, even doing a chef’s special in our last day. Steve, Luisa and Noelle helped make our vacation wonderful! We would definitely stay at Garoupas Inn again.

Book a Seaview Room , it is well worth the small extra cost.The view is amazing.The showeroom is very spacious & modern with no shortage of hot water.Light airy room with air-conditioning,tea & coffee ,tv,storage and patio doors out to the seaview balcony with table & chairs.The bed was very comfortable .The Hosts are extremely friendly & welcoming, nothing is too much trouble..Its a real home from home. They helped us arrange car hire , Whale watching & were always available with good advice & tips on where to go & what to see.Breakfast on the terrace every day was a lovely informal occasion,comparing trips with the other guests & getting more info from the host,.There was a good variety of cold options aswell cooked & unlimited cups of tea or coffee.The hottub is available whenever you want it & was a great way to relax after a busy day sightseeing. You can easily walk to 2 beaches & several restaurants. Ponta Delgado is also in walking distance along the coastal road with some nice restaurants along the way ,with plenty of Taxis for the return journey if you dont want to walk . Brilliant place to visit, we would highly recommended it & would love to go again.

we had an amazing view from our room, the room was very clean! we enjoyed it a lot. location is amazing, there are 3 beaches next to the apartment. staff was very kind and helpful, they allowed us to borrow the surfboard to try surfing. breakfast was very good and every day there was something else. we had an internet issue, but solution was found very quickly.
