Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe apartment was too big for 2 people, TV didn't work, the view was terrible, mosquitoes were flying over our ears and disturbing us from sleeping at night. There was no discount for meals for 4 people. Linens weren't changed for the five nights, and we always have to ask before getting fresh towels or even the apartment to be cleaned. This place isn't worth the money we paid.
The place had a kitchen and you could cook your own food. We also had a welcome bottle of wine, which was nice. Some of the staff were polite and friendly.

United KingdomDesserts were too repetitive and would have liked to have seen UK type selections, eg variety of cheese cakes, apple tarts and ice cream and hot custard.
Nice variety of breakfast items, although better cuts of bacon( back bacon) would have been nice instead of the streaky bacon. Lunch and dinner selection were good. Accommodation standard was good and poor mattresses in Room 231 was promptly dealt with.

United KingdomHad tea making facilities in our room but no teabags or coffee. We grabbed some from the restaurant on the 2nd day. Also, we arrived about 11pm, but the bar was closed. There was no bottled water in the room, and the vending machine at reception only took coins, so we couldn't use it. Just little things but something that could be tweaked for an improved service.
Great value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool is a good size with a nice little pool bar that severed a great selection of snacks in the afternoon. Staff friendly. Great location. Good all-rounder hotel. Will book again

LithuaniaThe rooms are worn, out of date and needs restoration. A hotel is full of drunk british youngsters, who are shouting loud, vomiting and partying all night in their rooms after comming from bars. The hotel is NOT recommended for FAMILIES with CHILDREN.
Comfortable beds, spacious apartment with kitchen. Cozy and luxorious lobby. Normal size pool with sunbeds, nice.5 mins on foot to the sea.

United KingdomI'd like to know who gave this hotel a 5star rating? It was a nice 3star at best. No luxury that a 5 star should provide. Door was stiff against the floor/door frame so you had to really bash it open. Making a lot of noise. Stains on some of the bedding. 2 cochroaches kicking about. Hardly any sockets in the room
Very good value for money. Reception staff very nice and helpful.

IrelandWe had a blocked sink in our bathroom and went to reception 3 times and were told on each occasion someone would one come to sort it. No ever arrived and we had to use the shower to brush our teeth. Not good 😣
The location, and general hotel is good. If someone had arrived with a little plunger it would have been great. Sadly this took a lot away from our stay.

IrelandThe nightly entertainment wasn’t great and the games room and the outside pool table could do with a facelift.
Hotel was very clean, room was good, nice selection of food & it was great to have the option to eat in some of the other Grand Muthu hotels nearby - we were all inclusive. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from The Strip but a taxi ride away from the Old Town.

United KingdomThe dinner at night time hadnt a lot of choice. Pasta but no sauce, rice with nothing to go with it. Most nights was the same food, had to go out for meals, which defeats the purpose when you pay for all inclusive. Ironing boards in room need replaced. No tea bags milk in room to make tea when you arrived or first thing in the morning.
The area was close to the strip and beach. Breakfast was lovely and the staff are a credit both professional and friendly at all times. The themed restaurants are a great idea.

RomaniaIt is not a 5* hotel. I am not sure how did they rate it but I would give 3* due to the old fashioned design of the rooms and lack of maintenance
The hotel is very well located, very close to the beach. Close to it you can find mini markets, bars and restaurants. The pool was cool as well.
