We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

I had to buy two air fresheners. it barely made a difference. the room could use some updating. being handicapped , it was a struggle going up to the second floor. I was told there was no rooms available on the first floor. but people in my party who booked after me got first floor rooms

United KingdomEverything was OK. The only thing we were not expecting was to agree to a €30 charge up front on my credit card which we were told would be used if you bought drinks etc. We were assured that if we didn't buy anything, it would not be taken. However, 5 days later, it is still showing as a pending payment on my credit card. We understand why the hotel does this, but it was a surprise.

United StatesThey did warn me when I arrived about noisy construction. Works have been better to have had the choice to stay and not tell me as I’m signing in. Also the beds were way too hard and uncomfortable. I travel a lot and this hotel had by far the worst mattresses I’ve ever slept on. I’d love to go back but quite frankly with four sleepless nights I’ll probably not go back.
The location was beautiful. The staff outstanding. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

PortugalSome workers was really rude, pay too much attention for their phones and ignore customers (in bar area especially). We also didn’t have some simple things in our room, and called to the reception to ask about everything: slippers, toothpaste and a brush etc.
Good location, really close to the city centre and embankment. Gays in the reception helped with all our questions and was super friendly) Amazing spa and pool, water in jacuzzi can be a bit more hot, but it’s still good. We really enjoyed our rest. Also want to say about delicious meals in restaurant and very good breakfast. Our room was comfortable, had huge bad and amazing view on Pico. Thanks for team of the hotel!!

PortugalIt would have been nice to have two chairs in our double room. The bathroom would benefit from working extraction. I really don't like clingy shower curtains!! It would also be helpful to have hooks on the back of the door to hang bathrobes.
Pleasant hotel in a great location with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. We had a nice room, huge comfortable bed, good breakfast.

The hotel is nice and clean, but it is already very old, you can feel it. Good breakfast, convenient location, parking, very large and comfortable bed, view of the Pico volcano.

NetherlandsThe hotel is situated in the centre and consists of a few buildings. Free parking available. The room is clean, the hosts are friendly. The breakfast was tasty and this breakfast room has a magnificent view on Pico island (see attachment). Keep in mind there is no lift, so if you have a heavy suitcase it might be an issue.
