One of the 2 elevators were out of service, and the full hotel had long wait to use the elevator as we were on the 4th floor and I have knee injury. The one elevator could barely hold 2 ppl and their rolling suitcases (tight squeeze). Breakfast was very busy, confusing but ok. The room was definitely showing its classic age and had 4 twin beds for a married couple to choose from. the point of the stay was to be in the city to fly out the next day and was too far from the airport and in the worse traffic congestion. Very few restaurants to choose from that were walking distance.

The staff wa wonderful and the best part of the stay.

Sewage-smell in the room was NOT good when we arrived. It turned better after some days, when we kept drain full of water. But still there was som smell now and then. Breakfast was poor and the room was to crowdy. There was no room for sitting down by a table- and it was TOO NOYSY.

If you go expecting it to be basic it was great. Minor gripes, towels were quite small for adults but they provided more than one per person. Pillows weren't great but drink enough Portuguese wine and you won't notice!

The hotel was basic but had everything we needed. We were travelling as friends so the rooms with multiple bed were great. They were comfy and the bathroom although basic was clean and functional. Towels were provided. Fridge in the room was welcomed to keep water cold. Breakfast was good, everything you need to start the day although it gets busy so prepare to wait for a table if you got at peak time around 9am. Staff there were always working hard to turn around the tables. Good location, 10-15 mins walk or so to one of the main shopping areas and the seafront. So quiet nearby but accessible. Taxis in Lisbon were very reasonable so download bolt before you go.

The facilities are very dated and there was a small of sewage in the bedroom. Also the bathtub had several hairs so it seemed it wasn’t clean.

The location is great very close to metro and bus and a nice waking distance to city center. I would say it’s a good option for a short stay.

The rooms we stayed in were clean but long overdue for a refit. Also, as we were situated at the back of the hotel, there was no natural daylight as the wall to the next building obscured this. Reality check here, if you are looking for a clean budget hotel, not the end of the world staying here.

Wet, dirty, old, cold numbers! Not like on the photos. No investments are made in this hotel for about 5 years. Very noisy - if you are planning to sleep - forget about it! Breakfast is disqusting, fuj. Never will recommend this hotel!!!!

The hotel was value for money, but the bathroom we had was not good for the larger person as the sink and toilet were so close together you have no room to sit comfortably when doing your business. The shower try is raised and as stated not enough room to turn. We had a balcony view without any little table or chairs outside but others had. No mini bar but fridge, no facilities in the room for making a coffee. Breakfast wasn't that bad either but more choices could be added.

The location was good, the buses and trains are all within a short walk. Restaurants are close, but if you venture further afield they get better.
