Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeBeing given probably the worst room in the hotel initially. We were staying 5 nights and pretty shocked at the state of the initial room which was dark, small and the air conditioning was just not working. Maybe the lady receptionist looked unfavourably to me as she was asked to book a table for 6 at a nearby restaurant, which she confirmed via WhatsApp later, only for the restaurant to claim there was no such booking. The rest of the staff were very professional and pleasant.
The initial room allocated to us was unacceptable but the reception staff were patient in providing a more suitable room to our satisfaction. Breakfast was very good and the location was excellent, being right in the middle of everything.

United StatesThe weather….drizzly, but still comfortable temperatures, could not dampen the enjoyment of this lovely city from this terrific starting point hotel.
Located at city center, easy walking distances to many many points of interest. Staff was very accommodating & friendly. Rooms are very spacious. Service is outstanding. Rooftop bar/restaurant is a relaxing space, but with the rain, not to appealing for us that night. However the panoramic views would be spectacular. The buffet breakfast included many choices, hot & cold. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

United KingdomThis is a lovely hotel. Great location, a short walk from the Baixa-Chiado Metro and ideally placed for sightseeing. Staff were helpful and super friendly. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice (from full English to traditional Portuguese), and all good quality. The breakfast room itself is lovely - light and airy, and like the relaxed rooftop bar-terrace, offering great views over the city. Would highly recommend.
