Unfortunately, it was hard to get a good night's sleep in the room because the hostel is located above very noisy cafes and restaurants that are loud all night.

Thank you for the friendly atmosphere in the hostel. The staff is very welcoming, and the room is wonderful, bright, and clean. The location is great, near several beaches.

Stayed 1 night when arriving late to Lisbon. Arranged airport pick up by host who was friendly and very nice. Private family room with private bathroom. Small, compact room, clean room and bathroom. In the heart of Cascais, loud bars outside til late but we didn't mind as we wanted to be in heart of things on first night and went to bars/cafes outside ourselves. Pleasant short 1 night stay. I only needed to stay 1 night here myself, it's fine for pit stop stay in central Cascais if on a budget.

The hostel is located in the center and there is loud music every night, coming from the bars around and they don't stop until late at night. If you have a light sleep it might not be suitable. Earplugs are in the house though and I managed to sleep alright.

The location is very central and it has a nice outside area to sit. The kitchen is well equipped and it is clean.

The location is very central at a square with a lot of pubs and restaurants. Unfortunately, due to that it is also extremely loud especially at night. Due to the loud music, sleeping was only possible with ear plugs and it is impossible to keep the windows open at night.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the rooms were simple but clean.

As it’s real close to where the night life is, it gets noisy during that period. Also, it has a LOT of stairs, I was carrying a heavy suitcase and had a really tough time getting it inside the room I stayed - which happened to be on the top floor.

The location is great! The bathrooms are also nice.

The dorm was quite small and backpacks did not fit in the drawers provided. I also missed having a hook or something to hang my towel to dry after showering.

My stay at Cascais Bay Hostel was amazing. The staff were welcoming, the facilities were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with tools needed to cook. My favourite part was the balcony/bar with a view of the ocean and the busy street below.

The noise of the bar until 3 am directly in front of the windows was a real torture and in addition to that in the morning there was the next noise from a building site (so get very good ear plugs!) The mattress was very bad and the bed sheets very smelly (like you leave the laundry for 2 days in the washing machine without hanging it). The hostel is simple but okay. For that what you get absolutely overpriced.

The bathroom had a bed smell, although they cleaned every day. If you can´t sleep with noise, don´t go there. There are a lot of bars surrounding the hostel, what is great for night people, but not for the ones that really want to sleep. They usually stay opened until 2 / 3 am.

Specially the staff are very kind and the location is great, really in the heart of the city, with a lot os attractions very close to it!

The noise from the bar and the street. Every night there were big party. This is a beach promenade with all its good and bad characteristics.

The hostel is awesome, the staff are great, so nice! Under the hostel there is a bar, and the music is really loud till 3-4 am. I was ready for it, I go there with earplug, but it wasn't enough. But the hostel is recommended :) The location is great. The bed is ok.

The beds could do with some extra padding as mine was a bit hard, it didn't matter to me after full days in Cascais. The locker was a bit small.

The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of town. It meant I needed my earplugs because there was a nightclub downstairs, not a problem for me. I loved waking in the morning to have my breakfast on the balcony watching the people, and I could just see the ocean. Both nights I came in late and as a single female I felt very safe in the area. One of the nights there was a small party with live music, which we were invited to join in with, which I did. The small kitchen and tv area is cozy and has everything you could want for hanging out and making friends. I can't wait to come back and stay longer!

It is quite loud until 2am because of the bars around the property playing music but this is what you get for being so central.

Excellent location, really cool terrace to hang out on. Bed was comfortable and had privacy with the curtains although this is only on the bottom bunks.

It's a great place to stay. Location is perfect - right in the center of the city were all night life and 5 minutes away from local beaches. Bus and train station are 10 minutes away. Auchan is 10 minutes to walk. You can find other product shops just next to the hostel but they overpriced obviously. Stuff is great and friendly. Did not charge me for the late check-in. The only thing is that two night clubs right there and they play music up until 2 a.m. so it's better to use earplugs. Sometimes there are parties thrown at the terrace in the hostel which is great.

Extremely loud location. There was a live music stage under my bedroom on Saturday afternoon. The terrace of the house (literally 3 m from my room) is being run as a BAR (very loud music) having random people around when you wake up in the middle of the night. I am not against to the bar but I felt uncomfortable with my pajamas in the middle of the night :) There should be a clear separation As the area and the hostel are loud, some guests are also not respectful unfortunately and this pissed me off. There are almost no quiet hours. Literally, this is like a 3-bedroom apartment with a terrace and you don't have a hostel vibe at all. I stayed 2 nights and even requested half of my money back, found it overpriced compared to similar places and not fair. KITCHEN: There is no coffee in the kitchen which is a basic in every hostel. This should be mentioned in the description part. There was a garbage smell coming from the kitchen, but the day after the cleaning lady took out the trash, the smell was less. LATE CHECK-IN FEE: They charged me 10 Euro for the late check-in (11 PM ) and It was too late to cancel when I have been informed about this. BEACH: The beach which is close is not a good one. It is enjoyable for morning coffee, yoga, and meditation but you have to walk around 10-15 mn to reach a bigger beach with facilities

The owner is nice and I appreciate the effort. In general, it was a clean place, the bedsheets and the room were fine. ( i didn't get a towel)

It can get loud, since there is bar below which plays too loud music. the owner of the hostel are aware of and are fighting against them. so, just take some earplugs or ask the reception

Everything was sort of ok during my stay… I mean what you can expect for a hostal (not cheap). But I still want to say that, after check out, I requested the opportunity to get inside just to change cloths, and the manager/owner replied I had to pay €5 to use the bathroom, which of course I didn’t so I left. Sooo, despite they were nice and welcoming during the moments we interacted, I found that really not cool. I understand they had absolutely no obligation to let me in of course but, yeah. Very friendly staff, but only until check out…

Location was great (very loud indeed but good to go out), and common space was very nice.
