Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalThe bed is too hard and the pillows too stuffed. No glasses inside the room. Could use a mini fridge.
The swimming pool is a gem. The staff is super nice and helpful. The bedroom was clean and the balcony of the 3rd floor is just perfect to see the shooting stars. Breakfast is awesome and delicious, facing the swimming pool. The new bedrooms are very tastefully decorated.

PortugalAs far I understood there is always someone in the reception until 10pm but after this there was nobody controlling and at 11pm there was some rude people making a lot of noise in the corridors right in front of my room so I had to remind them about the hours.
Overall it matched my expectations. The roam was clean and the bed was comfortablea and the personal were very friendly. The pool outside is a plus in hot days in Alentejo.

Great location in town for restaurants etc but nice and quiet. Excellent value with great facilities. The large open plan foyer almost looks unfinished but a great space. Staff friendly. Large terrace on top floor. Cant fault it really!

The reception was warm and friendly, Paulo was amazing and helped us with some places to go. The bedroom was small but cozy, it lacked glasses. The bed was very good and we had a good balcony with chairs. We could see the amazing swimming pool form the balcony and although the bedrooms are close the night was very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was superb! Scrambled eggs cooked to perfection, local bread and toasts, we were offered fruit and granola, fresh orange juice, by a very sweet and competent girl. We will be back!

-comfortable, spacious well-decorated rooms although very simple and clearly under maintenance, very suitable for short stays. -although located in the town centre, we had a very quiet night sleep -clean and beautiful swimming pool -check out staff very nice, smiley, eager to help and give us leisure suggestions around hotel and town - overall nice stay and most probably will return

PortugalThe place must be under renovations, it is well decorated and the pool is interesting from the architectural point of view. Nonetheless, there is still room for improvement in toilets and other common spaces but I guess that's why they are renovating the place.
The staff is really nice, especially the Brazilian guy at the reception. Very good service and always available to help.
