The cabin we were in would creak and crack with any temperature change, e.g. if the sun came out or went away (perhaps not enough gaps provided for slight expansion in construction)

Not a downside of the property itself, but there are limited restaurant options for dinner nearby (though we had an excellent meal at the one we visited).

The breakfast was excellent and served beautifully on our patio, the rooms were spacious and thoughtfully designed (we slept so well!), and the setting was absolutely beautiful (especially the pool surrounded by forest, which is much more beautiful and serene than you can tell from the pictures). Raquel also arranged a lovely wine tasting for us of their wine produced on site, and it was wonderful visiting the natural pools nearby. We wished we'd booked a longer stay.

Of all the places we stayed in the Azores, this was our absolute favorite. Raquel was an utterly fabulous host who attended to our every need while still giving us a sense of privacy and space. The flats are beautifully designed and appointed, with an eye on quality furnishings and finishings. They are spacious and everything you could need was included to cater for yourself during your stay. The bed was divine, as were the linens. The space itself is quiet and you will be amazed by the number of birds you hear - even given their numbers in the Azores! Guests can wander the grounds and there is a pool that can be enjoyed as well. The town is walking distance; the sea and tidal pools are a bit farther. Parking is easy and near the accommodation; cars are probably necessary for staying in this space. Overall, we could not recommend this property more highly and will definitely return next time we're in Terceira!

This is a gem. A beautiful, quiet, extremely comfortable and stylish property, in peaceful surroundings. Incredibly well hosted with lovely touches such as the breakfast basket and the chic crockery. This is a perfect relaxing location to use as a base to explore the island.

Beautiful hidden gem! We really enjoyed our stay with Raquel. The house was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need surrounded by lots of green and gardens! We spend 10 days with our baby boy and she provided everything we need, was very helpful and prepared us a big nice breakfast every morning and the bed is very comfortable. Despite the weather at this time of the year the stay was very very nice and if you come here during spring or summer time it gotta be a little place of paradise. Thanks a lot Raquel!

The little houses are located on the property of the owner, where they produce their own wine and grow fruit trees. The bungalows are separated from each other, offering lots of privacy. We loved the decor style of the house, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. In the morning, a healthy breakfast from local products is prepared by the host and delivered to the house. The location is perfect to discover the island, natural pools and the ocean are within walking distance as well as several great spots to visit. We felt super welcome at Casas do Morgadio and wished we could have stayed longer.

If you look for the perfect holidays, this is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the island. It is a WONDERFUL PLACE....The house is more than beautiful. It was perfectly clean and everything was new. It is really quiet and has a nice enviroment....and the fresh breakfast is greatttttt......the swimming pool is as beautiful as you can see in the pictures.....I can only recommend to book this house if you come to Terceira and want to relax and have a perfect holidays. Raquel was really nice with us and was always thinking on taking care of us

Absolutely everything was perfect. I would live in one of these villas haha - modern design, clean, cozy, quiet, and absolutely felt luxurious. And the owners are so so sweet and go above and beyond to help you feel comfortable... Not to mention the breakfast is fantastic! When I come back to Terceira I'm definitely staying here again. Hands down the best lodging I've ever experienced and I travel a lot!

We liked everything! To be fair if you are going to stay here, you pretty much need to have a car, but this is true everywhere on the island. (Don't worry, there is parking.) The closest town, Biscoitos, is within walking distance if you want a bit of exercise, but you can't walk around the corner for a quick afternoon snack. It is essentially countryside and not urban - which is exactly what we wanted. Look no further, you should 100% stay here!

We loved the location of this property. It was quiet, private, and beautiful, yet close enough to anywhere you'd want to go. There are only 4 units in the entire complex. They were all the same (as far as we could tell), and were spacious (even for those accustomed to traveling in North America). Raquel is a superb host and brought breakfast to our room every morning (including the early morning when we arrived) and it was fantastic. The pool was beautiful. We would happily send our friends and family.

We loved everything about it, lovely gardens and pool, beautiful and modern, lots of attention to design and details. The property which is set in an environment of ancient stone walls, trees and vineyards and was once Pedro's grandfather's. It is full of atmosphere and we were sad to leave.

If you are looking for a 10 out of 10 accommodation you must stay here. Everything is simply fantastic, incredibly quiet and ultra comfortable. You will want for nothing! Rachel's incredible breakfast basket which she delivers to you every morning is bursting full of deliciousness. It is always full of surprises, fruit from their orchard, warm bread and rolls, homemade jams, freshly squeezed fruit juice and meat and cheese.
