The only issue was a strong odour of sewer that permeated the property.

The room was warm with no way to cool it down other than sleeping with the windows open. This meant we could hear the noise from the square through the night. However, it was worth it for the location.

The location of the property was amazing and the main areas were kept very clean. Despite being off site, the staff checked in frequently and gave very clear instructions for check-in. The kitchen had all of the necessary amenities.

Don’t like the open shower design as things in the bathroom tended to stay wet; note that there isn’t luggage storage but there’s not too expensive luggage storage at the tourist office nearby

The property could benefit from dehumidifier. The air felt very moist and heavy but we were lucky that the weather was really nice so keeping the windows open resolved the issue for us.

Traditional property with amazing view, located at a superb location just 2 mins away from the main square full with cafes and restaurants. The host was very informative, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There was also a local info file prepared by the host which we found very helpful. We would highly recommend and are looking forward to returning

A lot of noise from the street, there is no insulation from the windows. That was not during the night though. The mattress was not that comfy.

Location, very clean and very well renovated and well kept. The kitchen was very well-equipped, the bathroom was spotless. My best stay in Portugal. The photos make you underestimate the facility, it's much better in reality.

Location, close to Sinatra Historical centre. There are couple of Restaurants nearby and 7-8mins walk to Quinta da Regaleira. Nearby bus stop 434 and 435 (thats goes to Pena Place).

Outdoor lighting and a handrail. You need to negotiate 2 sets of stairs to get from street-level to the unit. There is a streetlight that illuminates the area but doesn't completely light up the stair areas. Our unit had a motion-activated light above the door which needed to be switched on to work. I believe that the upper units have the same lights but if they're not turned on, the only light you have is from the streetlight which is not enough at night. Also, the upper staircase has a pony wall the top of which you can use to guide you but the lower staircase does not; may not be a code violation but having a rail to hold on would be a safer for guests, especially on a dark and rainy night.

Very well-appointed, secure, self-contained unit within a 5-minute walk of the historic centre of Sintra and about a 15-minute walk to the train station. The unit is very clean and we liked that they promote recycling in the unit; the public bins for disposing the recycling aren't far away. Even though there are several units like ours in the vicinity, the neighbourhood is very quiet. There is a private, quiet, grassy sitting area and a patio for outdoor space. Even in a contactless environment, the host responded quickly to WhatsApp questions and requests. We especially appreciated their ability to accommodate an additional last-minute room request.

If u have heavy laguage taxi can't get there it's up the hill . I was Alone I very clean - they came every day for cleaning and were quiet loud 1st day heater was cold but they fixed it

Some minor cosmetic repairs are needed - for example, repainting the doors and window shutters. But these are minor details and hardly noticeable.

Beautiful location - only 2 minutes' walk to the historic center and many cafes/restaurants. The apartment is clean and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. It's convenient even for four people, with 2 separate bathrooms and a sufficiently large and comfortable sofa bed. The self check-in process is easy. The host provided a very detailed instruction on how to get there.

I would like to note the convenience of checking in using a code and receiving a key, the comfort of the bed, and the presence of a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Very clean. Not a one bedroom, unless you think a curtain demarking a zone makes for a bedroom. Furnishings seemed to be from the thrift store. Sofa Bed in the living room was just a bed. So no real living room. More of a studio made to appear as a one bedroom we were unimpressed .

This has to do more with maintenance than with the people that would come and do cleaning. Walls are dirty, bathroom was moldy, parts of the kitchen seemed just stuck together very poorly, the apartment would smell damp. Also there were works going all the time in front of the window with people hammering and drilling from around 8am onwards. if the owners had at least warned us about it we would have gone somewhere else.
