Unfortunately there was no washing machine. I contacted the property in advance asking if they supply things like washing powder etc so I think it was clear I needed to wash my clothes. I arrived on Thursday night after a week travelling and there was no washing machine. I contacted someone who said it had broken and they'd sort one to arrive on Saturday however they then said it wasn't possible because it was the weekend. So I spent a while in a laundrette on Friday night washing and drying my clothes. This was very frustrating as they knew there was no washing machine on Thursday or before. So the excuse about not getting one in in time was not good enough. On top of this, because I had already gone to the laundrette I didn't want my stay to be interrupted by a washing machine delivery that I didn't need anymore. I asked the property on Sunday evening not to send it because I didn't want to be disturbed. However they replied on Monday morning to say it was already on it's way. It a guy that works for the property delivering it who could have easily delayed it or kept it in his van. The guy, Joaqim, wasn't even informed that I had asked not to be disturbed. So he turned up anyway. On top of this, while installing the washing machine, Joaqim said he needed to go out and buy some parts and then come back and finish. At this point I refused and said I already asked he didn't come at all. I don't want workmen in and out of a property I've paid for on holiday. He apologised as he hadn't received the info I had sent on the booking.com messaging. So with having to go to the laundrette with no prior warning that I'd need to, workmen turning up when I asked them not to, and them wanting to be in and out of the apartment during my stay - it was really annoying, and not very relaxing at all.

Central location, not in old town but close. Close to the "highstreet" (Zara etc + patisseries). Porto is so small you're always quite close to everything. Lovely size apartment.

We could have used a few more utensils in the kitchen - like a frying pan! But probably most people eat out if staying a short time.

Location was fantastic, near all major sights. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a 3-night stay. It was easy to contact the team, and instructions were clear and helpful.

65m2 apartment at the city centre. Close to historical places, metro stations. Clean, peaceful and comfortable. I would recommend to everyone.

No elevator. Luckily, i was only on the 2nd floor. But if you are given flats on higher floors, that could be a problem. Their system is to email out door codes only at 4pm when the flat is ready. For international travelers who might encounter problems with phone connections upon arrival, it might be difficult to get your door code. I had to request that they send me a door code BEFORE my flight so I could screenshot it in case there were connection problems.

Great location (although the taxi couldn't take me directly there because there was work going on right in front of the building). The flat is lovely and very spacious with great light.

For some reason there is a dish washer and washing machine but no soap is provided. We were there 5 nights but were only provided two small toilet rolls.

Close to the train station and very quiet. Everything was within walking distance. Also the host close to the palace was very helpful, and replaced a broken coffee pot quickly. She was always cheerful and professional.

The apartment was really nice and had all the facilities. Location was also very good. There was a parking garage nearby.

It's 4th floor without an elevator. If we would have known this e wouldn't have taken the apartment. That was really disappointing for us as a family. Unfourttlly the master room bedside table was sticky and there was a stain on the sheet.

The Location is very good. The apartment is big and comfortable for a family. The shower has a strong stream and is very nice after a day of travel in super warm August.

The only thing that disturbed us was the noise from the street. It was Friday night and a lot of young guys were celebrating something until 7 AM. There is a bar that works whole night near this appartment. I'm not sure if it works all the days or maybe it was something unusual.

The location was too busy for us specifically. We were on July 23 and the large square near the apartment is on construction, this is a very touristic area and thus it was super busy and noisy.

The apartment is very basic but with everything we needed. We came for a job trip and it stood up for our demands. The amenities were in good quality and comfutable.

Property was not cleaned/prepared when we arrived. Had to call the cleaner to come. Shower base clogged up and flooded when showering. Person come to fix it after two day stay of three

The Apartment was missing a few small details that really would have made a difference. For example we only had 4 clothes hangers between 3 people, there was a dishwasher but no dishwasher soap, one of the lights didn’t work and the bathroom door did not lock or close properly.

Well we have to order a transfer to the airport because the trains didn't ride so early. But the driver of City break appartements didn't show up. So advise take a taxi. Less stress
