I've had a wonderfull stay with Manuela and Cláudio. Their place is a beautiful peaceful paradise set in the remote nature of Setúbal, yet close by the city and beaches. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a comfy bed and a lot of privacy. The breakfast is just as lovely; with fresh fruit, bread and cheeses. The pool is bright clean, set in a beautiful garden with outdoor showers and relaxing sun beds. Just lovely.

Claudio and his mother are sensationell hosts. We felt so much at home. We had the pool bungalow directely at the Pool which was great. We extremely recommend to take the breakfast prepared with love. The hotel is located on a hill outside Setúbal and is very cosy and quiet. We will be back some day.

We stayed in the bungalow for 4 days and it was perfect for our needs, it almost felt like we had our own private house with the pool (although the pool is for the other guests as well). We were served an amazing breakfast and Claudio and his mother Manuela are the best hosts you can ask for. Location is perfect (with the little help of Claudio to reach it) to visit Setúbal and all the beaches around. We will definitely try to come back next year!

Family run. The proprietors (mother and son) are absolutely delightful, and went way out of their way to make me feel comfortable and to help me in any way they could. And the property is gorgeous. It is best for those with a car.

Nothing - it was perfect

I can't find enough superlatives to describe our stay here. The hosts are warm, welcoming and helpful, but not intrusive. The bungalow was comfortable, private and incredibly clean. The property itself is beautiful and in a beautiful setting. It's a little hard to find, but that's part of its appeal - it's private and secluded, but just a few minutes from the city of Setúbal and less than an hour from Lisbon. I wholeheartedly recommend Casal das Oliveiras and hope I can return one day.

A wonderful experience from beginning to end, I didn't want to leave! I can't recommend highly enough! The house is beautiful and unique with a lovely garden and pool. So peaceful, welcoming and everything so well kept. Stunning views of the surrounding area. A great place to relax while close to Setubal and places to visit and explore.
