Fabulous location, lovely and quiet at night even though beach literally 2 min walk away. Wonderful host who showed us some great bars and restaurants out of the main tourist area which made for a more relaxing holiday. Absolutely 100% recommended :-)

Has twin beds that are fairly small.

It is a wonderful apartment to experience Cascais. One block from the main beach and center. The apartment is very quiet and spacious for two people. The owner is very helpful and responsive. The apartment is well equipped and the kitchenette is modern and has everything you need. We highly recommend this place.

The owner lives in the flat above which is convenient for receiving the key but you could hear them moving about. Didn’t bother us but may bother some.

The apartment was comfy and cozy, but at the same time quite spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and cooking supplies making it possible to prepare simple meals. The location is ideal! A quick ten minute walk to most attractions - old town, the citadel, Cascais Marina, Marechal Carmona Park, Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum, Case de Santa Maria, etc. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to/from the train station and large grocery store. Our host Duarte was great! He lives above the apartment and was accessible anytime we had a question. He met us at the apartment when we arrived. After showing around the apartment, he took us on a quick tour of the neighborhood pointing out his favorite restaurants. Somos Um Regalo, Restaurantante O Continho Da Belinha and A Leitaria were among our favorites.

Our host, Duarte, went out of his way to make us feel at home by taking us on a tour of the neighborhood and pointing out his favorite restaurants. The apartment was spotless, the beds were very comfy, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this apartment for your trip to Cascais.

i couldn't sleep with open window, the apartment is on the ground floor, there is a little street with very few cars in front of the windows, but people walk past at night, some drunk.

i made my own breakfast - perfect. everything to my taste. the house is in a lovely area, quite close to the museums (casa das historias, centro cultural ecc) and the lovely park

The beds! The mattresses are hard (fine for some I’m sure) but the worst part was the plastic sheets. I understand if children are due to stay but not for adults. The bed sheets and pillow cases were bobbly and in my opinion they should be replaced as soon as possible with newer smooth cotton ones , like the duvets. They just felt worn and old. If it wasn’t for the beds I would have given the accommodation 10 out of 10 but everyone likes a nice comfortable sleep on holiday and the plastic and worn sheets made this impossible.

The location is amazing, you are in the center of everything. The surrounding streets are picturesque. Duarte was a kind and friendly host and there was very little noise from upstairs. The facilities are generally great, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom clean and towels soft. There is heating provided and this was perfect for the slightly chillier nights. There is still construction opposite please do not let that put you off! The noise was not loud and if you close the kitchen door you barely hear it at all.

Being elderly, I was not comfortable in the shower because of the slippery floor and no bar to hold onto. I am also very sensitive to scents and have had to take medicines to alleviate respiratory problems. Since I am aware of my health problem I always carry supplies. This is NOT a complaint.

I really liked the proximity to the beach and the city center. The apartment was bright and very clean. I was very happy to find a clothes washer in the apartment. It was very adequately set up to accommodate a long stay with all the kitchen facilities for in home meals.

We enjoyed being able to cook and eat at the apartment. It is so close to everything that coming ‘home’ for meals was very easy. It is close to cafes w coffee and pastries & sandwiches as well as restaurants w outdoor dining.
