If you are a very big person the bathroom would be too small, for us it was fine. Please repair the water leaking from the bathroom floor.

Location was excellent. A few minutes walk from the train station with shops and wineries nearby. Loved the wine and meat & cheese plate on arrival. The little kitchen was very nice. The host family was very friendly. Thank you for the lovely stay.

There wasn’t anything wrong because the owner had provided everything practical facility for a comfortable stay.

It was a small space but it had everything a couple needed for a comfortable stay. The icing on the cake was the terrace patio where we could eat and have fantastic views of the Douro valley.

Pinhao is great and this accomodation too. Above the shop, where is possible to buy some meat:-) Night walk along the river Douro, the train station, atmosphere with the old steam train...

Our stay was fantastic. The host went out of their way to provide some additional amenities to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Be sure to go to the upper deck to enjoy the river and a drink. We would stay here again!!!

Lovely little flat in the centre of Pinhao. It was big enough for our stay and had all we needed. The little terrace on the roof is an wonderful bonus and is a nice place to have a drink and see the sun go down over the river. Communication with the host was easy. We were also able to leave our luggage downstairs till check in time. I would definitely recommend

Small observation, could do with a light sensor on the steps to the main door. Nothing to dislike about the place.

Lovely little room with kitchenette and ensuite. It was grand for our needs. In the centre of the town and close to everything. The terrace is exceptional and has great views over the river.Really appreciated the bottle of port and food left out for us. Loved having breakfast on the terrace and then in the evening having a few glasses of wine watching the boats come and go on the river. Would highly recommend.

Just to make a note that there are a few steps from the street to the apartment, especially if you have a lot of luggage.. However, that's how it is in Pinhao with the small steep streets. It is definitely a part of the charm of Duoro Valley!

The house was wonderful, located just a few steps away from the Pinhao train station, the Duoro River banks, and a few great restaurant options. On street parking is available, or if you prefer, there is a small parking lot about 250 feet away from the property. There is a beautiful view of the Duoro Valley from the living room balcony. There is another terrace available upstairs for all the tenats to enjoy! There is a small grocery store right outside. It seems that the owner takes great pride in keeping their house beautiful and clean.

Unfortunately the toilets were set in a a cramped and unpractical space with a nasty smell of toilet in the corridor of the common areas and toilet area of the room. There was also a recurring noise of the toilet pipelines (?) night and day.

We had a very good stay at Casa Rocha with tho terrasses with a very nice panorama on the mountains and Douro River. Very clean with great commodities. Well situated next to Pinhão station.

Fantastic place with a garden terrace and at upper terrace with outlook to duero rivern, mountains … what a place. Apartment very clean, ari con worked perfect, kitchen ok, toilet ok - all in all very nice place. Higet recomendations from us.

The location, the staff, the owner, communication, the rooftop terrace with amazing views. When we arrived in the afternoon, there had been a misunderstanding and our appartment hadn't yet been serviced. The very kind owner called to apologise and our family was immediatley offered an upgrade in to a much larger appartment. We would have been happy to wait until the service team had completed the clean for the place we had booked, but the owner insisted on moving us in to the larger appartment (which was a very nice appartment). The owner also offered a full refund for our stay. I wasn't going to accept that, however, the owner again insisted, despite the upgrade, and we received a full refund. Very generous. The views from the shared rooftop garden were sensational. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy furniture and nice beds, fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, a small bottle of local wine and some cheese and cold meats left for us in the frigde. On arrival, we were able to locate the property relatively easy. Check-in was via key box. There is on-street parking available. Towards the evening, an abundance of car parks right in front of the house became available. The property is located above a deli shop and has a balcony directly above the footpath. I loved sitting there in the evening watching the loals and tourist pass by. The place had a wonderful feel to it, calm and relaxing. Without any hesitation, I would book this place again.

There wasn't a lot of room to put open our suitcases as the room is very compact and there also wasn't a lot of room in the bathroom (if you're tall it's hard to fit your legs while using the toilet).

Loved the rooftop terrace and cute cozy room! Great views of the river and of the town. We happened to stay here during the town's summer festival and we were able to see and hear the concert stage from the rooftop quite late into the night! We also heard cannons at 7:30 each morning quite clearly.
