I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Lisbon/Almada. The location was perfect, the hotel was better than we'd imagined and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. Staying here was the highlight of our trip!

Ylvi met us even though it was midnight, she was very welcoming and went through everything we needed to know within the beautiful apartment and also send us a text with recommendations for restaurants, transport and places to visit. Amazing place to stay with everything you could want or need at you disposal

Lovely colonial house beautifully modernised and divided in comfortable apartments. Swimming pool and a balcony in each apartment gives an extra lovely touch and added comfort. Every thing is of excellent quality. Ylvi was super helpful in every way . Location lively with many restaurants just around the corner . We will go back !

There was nothing we didn't like.

Casa Rene is lovely and so is Ylvi! It's perfectly placed for the restaurants and bars of Almada, and a very short walk to the ferry to Cais do Sodre. The apartment is large and nicely decorated. You have an outdoor space with seating and the pool area is great, sitting amongst the citrus trees. Even the other guests were lovely!

We loved our stay at Casa René. Great location, quiet and relaxed atmosphere but close to supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped, beautiful and very clean. The garden is beautiful, well kept with a good pool and nice sunbeds. On our travels we have never experienced such care and hospitality. Ylvi is one of a kind. Casa René is truly a hidden gem.

This property is ideal for families, easy location, access to private garden with pool and the apartment has a small kitchen. Local shops for groceries. The ferry to Lisboa is surprisingly convenient. Drops you off centrally close to multiple transport hubs and right beside Timeout market.

Location was great, very convenient for restaurants and ferry to the city. The overall apartment facilities were excellent and plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. It was great to have space to chill out in the apartment and the pool and garden to enjoy after a long day exploring Lisbon. Communication with Ylvi was brilliant, arranging our airport pick up and sending me lots of local restaurant recommendations and useful information.

Everything! The staff is exceptional! The driver to and from the airport was professional and made the ride relaxing. Ylvi was fantastic, and the team went above and beyond getting me patries for my birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. The pool and garden area are breathtakingly beautiful. We will be back!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good facilities provided at the apartment - coffee machine, tea bags, drinks in the fridge. The staff provided links to visit key places nearby and were pro-active in providing us with useful information on key events and road closures.

Fantastic place - a true hidden gem. Easy to get to from Lisbon Airport, partly due to the great public transport system, but also due to the tremendous advice and attention to detail provided by the host. We were met on arrival by our smiling host - and we were delighted to find a bottle of wine already chilling in the fridge! The apartment was spotlessly clean. It really exceeded our expectations. The outside area - with pool - is maintained to a very high standard and everything inside the apartment was simply perfect. Casa Rene is located on a bustling street, with plenty of bars and restaurants which cater for many diets, tastes and cuisines. There is also a traditional Portuguese supermarket a few doors up and a more common day to day supermarket almost next door. It's really well stocked, and you'll find everything you'll need for your stay. The ferry terminal is a matter of minutes away, with the ferries running around the clock all day, so central Lisbon is always within easy reach. We (family of four) have a really great stay. The host is super-attentive. It really was a delight staying at Casa Rene.

The apartment was very clean with modern fittings and fixtures. Comfy beds and lots of clean fluffy towels. The grounds and pool are idyllic. The owners and staff were welcoming and we were well looked after. There was a good selection of local eateries which were reasonably priced and the ferry across to Lisbon was easy to use with regular crossings - a perfect place for a city break with a pool.

It's not really negative, but points to improve: it would be nice to have extra tables in the living room and a curtain for a privacy feeling. A proper bedside table would be handy and understood the closet space is being cared for.

Very attentive owners, a great example of care for guests. We had an issue with the WiFi, and they were doing their best to solve it and find a solution. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. If you are looking for a place in Lisbon, this is a great location. Just a short ferry ride to the city center with the quiet of a real vacation feeling 😎. Amazing swimming pool, sunbathing beds, and so many different restaurants just outside the door. Outside table where can you have breakfast and full kitchen with nice dining table.
