We loved our stay at Casa René. Great location, quiet and relaxed atmosphere but close to supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped, beautiful and very clean. The garden is beautiful, well kept with a good pool and nice sunbeds. On our travels we have never experienced such care and hospitality. Ylvi is one of a kind. Casa René is truly a hidden gem.

This property is ideal for families, easy location, access to private garden with pool and the apartment has a small kitchen. Local shops for groceries. The ferry to Lisboa is surprisingly convenient. Drops you off centrally close to multiple transport hubs and right beside Timeout market.

Location was great, very convenient for restaurants and ferry to the city. The overall apartment facilities were excellent and plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. It was great to have space to chill out in the apartment and the pool and garden to enjoy after a long day exploring Lisbon. Communication with Ylvi was brilliant, arranging our airport pick up and sending me lots of local restaurant recommendations and useful information.

Everything! The staff is exceptional! The driver to and from the airport was professional and made the ride relaxing. Ylvi was fantastic, and the team went above and beyond getting me patries for my birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. The pool and garden area are breathtakingly beautiful. We will be back!

Fantastic place - a true hidden gem. Easy to get to from Lisbon Airport, partly due to the great public transport system, but also due to the tremendous advice and attention to detail provided by the host. We were met on arrival by our smiling host - and we were delighted to find a bottle of wine already chilling in the fridge! The apartment was spotlessly clean. It really exceeded our expectations. The outside area - with pool - is maintained to a very high standard and everything inside the apartment was simply perfect. Casa Rene is located on a bustling street, with plenty of bars and restaurants which cater for many diets, tastes and cuisines. There is also a traditional Portuguese supermarket a few doors up and a more common day to day supermarket almost next door. It's really well stocked, and you'll find everything you'll need for your stay. The ferry terminal is a matter of minutes away, with the ferries running around the clock all day, so central Lisbon is always within easy reach. We (family of four) have a really great stay. The host is super-attentive. It really was a delight staying at Casa Rene.

The apartment was very clean with modern fittings and fixtures. Comfy beds and lots of clean fluffy towels. The grounds and pool are idyllic. The owners and staff were welcoming and we were well looked after. There was a good selection of local eateries which were reasonably priced and the ferry across to Lisbon was easy to use with regular crossings - a perfect place for a city break with a pool.

It's not really negative, but points to improve: it would be nice to have extra tables in the living room and a curtain for a privacy feeling. A proper bedside table would be handy and understood the closet space is being cared for.

Very attentive owners, a great example of care for guests. We had an issue with the WiFi, and they were doing their best to solve it and find a solution. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. If you are looking for a place in Lisbon, this is a great location. Just a short ferry ride to the city center with the quiet of a real vacation feeling 😎. Amazing swimming pool, sunbathing beds, and so many different restaurants just outside the door. Outside table where can you have breakfast and full kitchen with nice dining table.

Beautiful Apartment (super clean, nice furniture, nice pool) in a good area where you can take a ferry for 1.40€ to be in the centre if lisbon within 5 min. The service from the host is mega, they help you on all sides to have a perfect stay.

Everything...the owner was really helpful with the whole stay. Welcome pack in the fridge. Directions sent prior to my stay was much appreciated especially the apps for the river ferry. Super comfy bed! Very quiet and peaceful top floor room. 5 mins walk to the ferry and lots of great restaurants on the doorstep.

Lovely property with spacious studio apartment. Lovely hosts who are very attentive and kind. Handy location next to numerous fab restaurants and ferry. Alot of stairs to get to the studio on the top floor but a beautifully maintained building and pool area.

Nothing really! There is a bannister on the floor of our room which was a little wobbly, so perhaps just needs a tighten, but wasn’t an issue for us, just maybe note-able.

This property stands out from others because the people who own and work there CARE about their guests, and making it the best possible place to stay in Almada. From parking arrangements, washing facilities, care packs in the fridge, location, divine beds, the pool, as well as a guided tour of the facilities upon arrival…Casa Rene is a home away from home.
