Luisa explained that the apartment itself was located in a building from the middle ages. As such, one can expect that there are a few issues in a building that old. All around town, the plumbing seems to be precarious, and here too we could not flush toilet paper. Also, there was no elevator and we had to climb the stairs with our luggage. But, as stated, I don't think there is much to be done about that given just how old the building is. Plus, that's kind of the point in visiting Evora in the first place, to stay in a well-preserved Roman and middle age city.

Luisa, our host, was fantastic. She was kind enough to give us not only a thorough explanation where we could find everything we needed in the property itself, but also around town. It was fun to get to know her. The apartment itself was cozy. Cool vintage furniture, beautiful original art on the walls, and having the washing machine dryer combo available to use was so helpful.

One of the main reasons for choosing the property was the parking; however the parking space is in a private car park, two levels down which was pitch black, and an extremely narrow space only suitable for small cars and difficult manoeuvre in due to the great number of support columns. Once out of the car park with suitcases, they had to be carried up a very steep slope as the road surface didn’t allow them to be wheeled. Although it states that the car park space is one minute away from the apartment I cannot believe that this could be achieved by anyone. When we left the apartment we brought the car up to the square, where we originally met the owner and then wheeled our luggage across to the car which was much easier.

Loved the location and the apartment was immaculate, spacious, very well finished and tasteful.

A bit difficult to find the location (garage) by car due to closed, narrow and one-way streets within the city walls, but the host met us outside and led the way.

Great location in an old building with soul. Big rooms with high ceiling and a nice bathroom. Possible to wash clothes. Included parking in a parking garage a few minutes away. (Obs! The parking space is tight, advantage with a small car and good control)

The owner of the parking garage needs to fix the underground lights, so you don't need to use your cell phone flashlight to navigate to your car..

Very well furnished and comfortable apartment in the very center of Evora. We stayed 3 nights, and it was an Oasis for us as we explored Evora and the surrounding area.

We were there during a celebration weekend and there was a stage in the piazza with very loud music til 2am for 3 nights - maybe check if there are any celebrations planned during your stay. The apartment is up a fairly steep staircase (no lift) so it is not advisable for those with mobility issues. Also, the walk from the garage to the apartment (separate building) is less than 5 minutes but over very rough cobblestones so you need to be able to carry your bag (you won’t be able to roll it).

The property is located very close to the main piazza is a very easy walk to many restaurants and cultural sites. The apartment is spacious and clean, the bed is firm but comfortable and there are English tv channels. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and the host surprised us with a nice bottle of wine. The water pressure is very good in the large bathroom and the wifi is good enough for streaming. The hostess is easy to communicate with and is helpful when problems or questions arise. I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in the very beautiful old city of Evora.

The parking was close but down hill from the apartment so for people with mobility issues, getting the luggage up to the apartment could be tricky.

The location was amazing!! Central to everything! The apartment was beautiful and clean. The bathroom was newly remodeled and spa like. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The host left a bottle of wine for us. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet even though it faced the street. The shutters closed at night blocked out light and sound.

The apartment is in the middle of everything Évora has to offer. Having private parking was convenient. The place was very clean the bed comfortable. We spent 2 weeks in Portugal and Evora was our favorite city by far!

The pull-out bed was not made up and no bedding was available for it. This was an issue. The address was not provided and there was a mixup about getting the keys that caused stress and inconvenience.

This is a beautiful apartment with very high quality fittings no ikea to be seen here. Beautiful antique furnishings and monogrammed linen fresh flowers like being in a 5 ⭐️ hotel but an apartment. The apartment was located in the central part of Evora near the main plaza. The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. It included all the appliances you would need if wanted to stay for a period of time. The garage was close by and you just had to use google maps to help you get there and to travel to any places you wanted to visit close by.

The location was absolutely fantastic - right in the heart of the city, and there is a well stocked supermarket right across the road, a critical feature if you're traveling with a young family. The host Luísa was wonderful in every way, she made the stay perfect.

Perfect location just off the main square. Stylish interior with good facilities, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Plenty of space and full kitchen, if you are inclined to cook for yourself, which we weren't. Too many good restaurants to choose from within a few minutes walk. Luisa met us at the apartment and gave a thorough briefing on the apartment
