Beautiful garden and patio where you can sit outside, eat, lie in the hammock and relax. The apartment itself is quite small, but cute and has everything. Owner was really friendly and easy to communicate with, checkin and checkout are so easy and hasslefree.

The host was incredible. Answered all my questions before and throughout trip and was there to help at any time. Even came and left us a treat on the last day. The property is extremely gated and made us feel so safe. The check in process was seamless and so easy - much appreciated. We loved the free parking lot nextdoor and the backyard was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Such a beautiful space with beautiful surroundings. So peaceful and quiet. We appreciated the onsite free parking. A 20 min walk into town - but very direct, and a quiet walk. We appreciated the tea and coffee left for us!

You can hear the neighbours in the adjoining apartment a little bit, but as they were quiet people, it didn't bother us at all. It's rather small, but as you'll be outdoors most of the time, this shouldn't be an issue either.

The apartment is clean and cosy and has blackout curtains and fly screens (for windows and doors) which we appreciated. Furthermore there is a nice private terrace and shared garden. We didn't meet João in person, but communication via Booking went very smoothly. Also the self check-in is very easy. As for parking: there are a few places in the driveway, but there also is a convenient public parking space nearby where we parked our car every night. The apartment is located in a quiet street, but is still pretty close to the city center (1.5km - 2km) where you can find all necessary supermarkets, restaurants, ... And it's also located quite central on São Miguel which makes it the ideal base to explore the entire island.

Parking possible in front of the building, although very tight with several users. But that didn't bother me at all!

João is such a friendly and open person. He welcomed me warmly and showed me his great property. The rented part is a little paradise. Three accomendations in the backyard, however very private and close to nature. Made with love. The location is optimal for excursions and adventures in the area. I can only recommend staying at this heartwarming place!

The bed was super comfortable, and the room was very comfortable and spacious. We ordered breakfast some of the morning, and it was good, fresh quality, and plenty. The owner is very polite with a lot of knowledge about Azores. The restaurant recommended were very tasty. Monte verde and o-silva. If I come again I will stay again here.

Would definitely come back here in future trips to Sao Miguel. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. The room is very clean, newly renovated, nicely designed, kitchen is convenient. There is a beautiful garden where we did yoga and had breakfast in the morning. The location is central on the island and it’s easy to access the key tourist spots with a car from here.

Comfortable and clean! Exactly as pictured. Accommodating and lovely breakfast every morning. Central location on the island and close to grocery store. We would stay there again if lucky enough to find ourselves back in sao Miguel.

The house was very comfortable with a stunning garden. Location is also ok if you have a vehicle, in general, it’s difficult to move around the island without a car. The host was really nice and flexible. We’d repeat if we come back to Sao Miguel!
