The bedroom backed on to a road, there was lots of noise from passers by during the night, it could have done with better noise insulation in the bedroom

If you have a car, you'll have a bit of trouble finding parking. It was also a problem during the weekend because there are so many parties and you can hear everything in your bedroom at night. Loud singing and talking goes on until 4 in the morning.

The apartment is clean, beautiful and spacious. It has lots of equipment. It is in the city centre in a very good location. Very friendly reception and I got a lot of information about what to see and where to eat. They were at my disposal for any questions and advice.

The apartment is central and in reach of everything. The apartment was clean and check-in was easy. The owner left us with great suggestions of restaurants and places to go which were all great. Yes it can be a little noisy at times but only because the apartment is very central and we didn't find it too bad and we slept very well. Would definitely recommend this place and will return some time in the future. Thank you very much

Our apartment was at the ground floor, right behind the window there was a street and we heard people walking and cars driving. Also it was a bit humid in the place.

The location is close to the city center, the owner was super nice, he gave us tips for restaurants and places to go in Porto. The apartment had everything we needed for short stay.

Only 4 towels for duration of our stay (5 nights) No mirror, only the one in the bathroom, so the wife couldn't use the hairdryer and mirror at the same time. No teatowel, I would have expected 1 at least, so we used a hand towel. Some extra pillows would have been a nice touch, in case guests like more pillows. Huge wardrobe in bedroom, so no problem to supply and store some. Extra quilt was provided, which we used, but it was very thin, also wasn't clean. Had a few stains on it. Communication started off fine, both before we arrived and on the first night ( to collect the 15 euros "tourist tax" ), then nothing. I messaged the host that the shower head bracket was loose and coming away from the wall within a few hours of getting there ( when we first arrived, i noticed the shower head was left in the bath, but thought nothing of it until we came to use the shower), there was no reply at all to this, so we managed with holding the shower head in one hand whilst we showered, not ideal. Also no check out instructions, I messaged the host the day before our departure to ask about check out arrangements, again, no reply. No info in the welcome pack, as we didn't know what to do with the keys, we just sat in the apartment with bags packed until the cleaner turned up at 1pm on checkout day. We asked her what we do with the keys, she told us to put them in a post box within the complex, but I wouldn't have thought to do this, as the box was marked "post". This is an honest review of our experience in this particular accommodation. We have stayed in other properties in Faro before, and had entirely different experiences, Faro itself is a great place to visit and a good base from which to explore the Algarve, so do not be put off staying in the city. All in all though, too many little niggles, which all added up to a fairly neutral experience, which is a real shame, as the issues raised can easily be rectified.

Superb location, very central to all main amenities, marina, bus and train stations, supermarkets, restaurants etc Good WiFi in apartment, very stable. Apartment was modern and airy. Plentiful hot water.

On Saturday night it was noisy due to the night club on the other side of the street.Also,it was extremely cold inside the apartment( host provide a heater,but for this space one is not enough).

The location was really great and close to the city center.Apartment is pretty new with all facilities you may need,also the size of the apartment is pretty big.You have your own small balcony to have a cup of tea and enjoy the sun.The main door was not transparent as it was mentioned in some of reviews(but maybe it was changed recently 🤷🏼‍♀️)Host was very nice and meet after check in time.Bed,sofa and pillows was very comfortable.

Unfortunately there is a night club on the back road on the bedroom side and people hang outside until 5am/6am talking out loud, I guess the price would be reflective of that... The shower holder needs updating as it's a bit wobbly. Shame we couldn't work the TV channels with the remote which was a bit annoying, but we only stayed for a couple of days. On arrival the house numbers are a bit confusing, and better clarification or a like plaque on the gate would have been useful. The road is also a bit rough at night. Despite the above, it still is a great apartment and a great base for a couple of nights!

The key into the apartment was tricky to use, I got stuck outside the apartment as well as inside. Hopefully it will loosen as more people use it! You could hear the other apartments. Take earplugs

I am familiar with this part of Faro, and love how central it is to everything. Great location as you can walk to everywhere easily. The apartment was lovely, and a huge space, as its fairly new everything is still in a very good condition. The bathroom is huge too! Great hosts, Great price

It would be nice to have a bit more privacy. The front door is easy to see through, but it was never an issue.

New flat, very well equipped, and extremely clean. Very comfortable and easy to get to the city center. I felt safe, and it's easy to block out the light and noise from the street if you want to sleep early/sleep in.

Many issues, shower head falling off the wall, blind attachment falling off the wall. All plates were dirty and oven tray filthy. Coffee machine didn’t work. Apartment needed a good clean. No tea towels, and no response when I asked for some. Mattress cover covered in hairs, needs to be washed. Location close to centre which is great, although very noisy at night. Kept awake till 4.30am and 6am over weekend.
