A relaxing, homely ,hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. A generous buffet breakfast. The owners allowed us to use the coffee machine during the day. One minute walk to local ,traditional Portuguese restaurant, serving delicious food in the evening. A memorable place. Highly recommended.

Having to leave.

Had a wonderfully tranquil stay at Casa Branca. The room was very comfortable with a terrace looking over the pool and to the sea. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The place seemed reasonably full (it's August) but it wasn't noticed at all, very very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast, as per the other reviews was indeed lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to and indeed am already planing when to go back.

The shower was a little tricky to figure out and we accidentally sprayed ourselves when we initially turned it on, but we figured it out quickly and it was a nice, hot shower. No big deal.

We were greeted warmly by the property staff, given a tour of the property to point out all the amenities and where to find everything. We loved the scenery, pool, ability to order drinks from the bar as we relaxed on the veranda next to the pool, the comfort and location of the room, and the amazingly delicious breakfast spread.

A little way out of Tavira but we knew this when I booked it.

Spacious room with air con. Modern bathroom. Excellent safe parking on site. Great pool area. Staff were very helpful. Delicious cold food buffet breakfast. Coffees free at any time.

We knew we would have a car but be aware that you need one!

Immaculate accommodation. Lovely breakfast and tea/coffee available all day. Appreciated towels to use round pool too.

Beware of the beds. A review beforehand mentioned the beds have a wooden border around them and the rooms are narrow so you can bang your legs. I still managed to smash my shin into it

Great shower, clean rooms and efficient check in. Loads of towels including ones for the pool! Great pool for swimming. Not too busy. Best breakfast we had while in Portugal and stayed at 6 different places provided fresh fruit, variety of meats and cheese, many different pastries and FRESH orange juice, yoghurts and more that I’ve forgotten. Beautiful grounds with a vegetable patch and plenty of grassy secluded spots to rest in away from the pool.

Nothing I can remember of.

Amazing breakfast. Simply delicious. My room was quite spacious and had a nice terrace. Staff are very friendly. The whole property is very nice and conveniently located with easy access to the motorway and to Tavira and the beaches.

Can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like

Small boutique style hotel mostly set around a family friendly salt water pool. Breakfast setting beautiful and breakfast plentiful and great quality including free tea and coffee throughout the day. Gardens beautiful and all grounds well kept. Staff were most certainly the main talking point - they were all lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and fantastic - really great customer service. Guests were allowed small well behaved dogs. Loads of secure parking.

The place is a 10 minute drive from town. So works only if you have a car.

Lots of parking. Very friendly staff. Free coffee all day. Great breakfast . Beautiful grounds and pool. The room was very comfortable with a small sit out. The manager helped with some great suggestions on places to visit in that area.

The room furniture is Ikea, no problem with that but the bed had some sharp corners and as it was not very spacious, I bumped my legs few times

There was nothing i didnt like

Breakfast was excellant. even if there was no cooked option. Room was very good. Clean tidy and a 10 yard walk to the pool. Pool was a bit small but was cleaned every day and very handy

The only thing that could have been better was the WiFi but that minor, only needed it for work so if you’re okay with patchy WiFi (only around the pool) you’ll be fine. It would also be good if you could book dinner or lunch, I think this is done when it’s busier season but sometimes we wanted to chill after a few beers and not have to drive. There’s a restaurant just down the road but we didn’t really rate it. However this is only to set out some minor points both of which are easily fixable.

The breakfast was lovely and so fresh - one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Good location if you have a car. If you want a peaceful break in a lovely hotel, this is for you. I would come back, and I don’t say that too often.

the only problem we had was getting out of the place. Fast road felt a bit tricky seeing cars coming.

breakfast was one of the best we have had. Simple but wide choice of food all of it was excellent quality from the pastries to the 3 types of bread to the selection of coffees and teas. Really was excellent. Lovely pool to dip into again very clean and deep enough at the deep end. Room was clean and well furnished with tea and coffee and a big bathroom.

N O T H I N G 😆

Casa Branca is a fabulous accommodation. It is very clean and very comfortable.The bed was wonderful. Booked a suite with a very big terrace area. Perfect for a dog with lovely kept grounds. A fantastically clean pool area which was great. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly but respected everyone’s privacy. Breakfast was great lots of things, ham, cheeses, boiled eggs, pastries, croissants and cakes etc. Alternative milks and yogurts, fresh bread rolls, fresh fruit. Teas, it has a free coffee machine which you can use whenever! The whole experience here was one of my favourite places to stay. We travelled all around the Algarve and parts of Spain for a month. This was one of my favourites and we stayed in lots of accommodation. I am glad we stayed an extra night! This is a perfect place to stay near Tavira. Tavira itself is a very charming place. We had a car so exploring was no problem. I can’t rate this place enough. Will definitely return again one day. Thank you for the experience:) Just book don’t hesitate!!
