Cozy, clean, great location , friendly staff, amazing breakfast. All home cooked.

Having to travel up and down the fourth level was nothing short of breath taking, especially with luggage, but very quickly got used to it and became what I would describe as a pleasurable experience and great exercise. It is after all a preserved historic building with character and elevators are simply not available.

The breakfast provided exceeded my expectation, the range of choice was amazing and if it wasn't there the friendly staff were more than happy to oblige with any request. The area was also made available during the day for coffee, water and snacks, this was highly appreciative.

The hotel is well situated, in a nice area, very quiet. the breakfast is amazing and the staff is very kind and helpful. The place feels like being in small neighbourhood.

Everything was amazing. The stairs were a lot of stairs but Samuel carried all of our bags down and was just the best!

The staff was amazing especially the late check and early morning staff 😊 super accommodating and made our stay as comfortable as possible!!!

The bathroom is very small. My back was up against the shower curtain while showering. It took a while to get good at showering without getting the whole bathroom wet. Couldn't use the rainfall showerhead as the hot water system couldn't keep up. The smaller shower head was good.

The staff were very helpful. The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. Washing and drying facilities were very helpful. Note that there were a lot of stairs to our suite but they have other options.

If you don't like hills or cobbled streets, don't stay here. But we loved it.

Hidden gem in the back streets of Barrio Alto just away from the main tourist streets. Rooms all located around a shared patio with lots of shade, perfect outside space for relaxing during the day or evening. We had a family room with two very big double beds (family of 4). Wifi was great (for the kids!) and everyone loved the breakfast, so much choice and really relaxed. The staff here are very helpful. There's a tiny shop and bar on the street just outside. very cheap for essentials if you need them. We loved the location as it's away from the noise and a nice walk into Chiado. Loved it. Would definitely stay in a Shiadu owned hotel again.

It's difficult to get to, regardless of which mode of transport you choose. You're going to walk at least 5 minutes.

A gorgeous little oasis in the centre of Lisbon. Surrounded by café, restaurants and bars you're in easy walking distance if any entertainment you need for your evening. The facilities are terrific, the rooms clean and comfortable and breakfast was a delight.

Very nice appartment in the Bairro Alto in Lissabon. The appartment was well equipped, quiet and spacious, the staff was very friendly and the patio relaxing. You wouldn’t think you are in one of the main tourist areas of Lissabon.

The room was very cute. The breakfast was delicious. I liked that they had snacks and a coffee machine when we checked in. The patio was cute. It was within walking distance to most sites.

We loved the patio, the breakfast was good and they try to change a part of it day by day, it was quiet so we slept well. The location is pretty accessible for lisbon's famous hills

Location was authentically Portugeuse, which is what we loved. Breakfast was incredible. Close to all the major attractions.

It might prove slightly difficult accessing the place if you have any difficulties with movement, but then again that is Lisbon center, so people should expect that there are cobble stoned streets and uphill walking.

The place was beautiful, the staff very friendly and welcoming. Even though the place was very central it was very quiet and calm during high season.
