Apartments and pool area in need of a revamp! A but dated

Big apartments! Our apartments were at the club house so a bit of a walk to reception etc. club house does food and taxis will pick up and drop from this area.

The decore but that’s a personal preference. Some of it dated and old too

So much space, quite and extremely friendly staff lady who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming, and bar man the same in the evening

Constantly getting locked out of our apartment as the card would’nt work for 4 nights in a row and the staff taking it as an inconvenience to them. Very rude and not good enough for hospitality sector considering it was their issue

New Beds needed in apartment 247 front twin room and also patio furniture cracked and the patio had not been mopped when we arrived, food and drinks stains. We mopped it. Even so, great apartment definitely stay again. Some of the bar staff at Bistro bar could do with some training on hospitality. Food at Bistro was lovely and the Italian restaurant also. We would definitely return to Balaia Golf Village

They gave us one of the most distant apartments. It was kinda near a pool but the rest of the apartments were near the entrance while ours was far away from everything so we had to take the car. Also, the left a bottle of water with two glasses upon our arrival. One of the glasses was a little bit chipped, which was a little bit dangerous.

Very large village, calm vibe. Lots of pools and very chill. I really like the pools and the spacious apartment. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped.

The fixtures, fittings and furniture are a little tired and in need of updating/refreshing, particularly the bathrooms. No dishcloth/washing up was sponge supplied.

We loved the resort itself and the pools, which are beautiful and well-maintained. We enjoyed the Lake House for coffees and food one evening (pretty views of the green), as well as the Bougainvillea Italian restaurant. The Spar supermarket was handy for breakfast/lunch supplies and not ridiculously expensive. Close enough to Maria Luísa beach on foot if you don’t mind walking. Santa Eulália, another beach and more bar/café/restaurant options are a longer walk (about 30 mins). Our apartment was a perfectly adequate base. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful.

All the furniture in the apartment was old and covered in stains. Also there was a smell of old furniture. Housekeeping was also not perfect. There was some hair left in different places. One room had no air conditioning. Although the apartment was big but it does not compensate for other disadvantages there.

The swimming pool was small but decent.

The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.i travel quite a lot for work but never had a bed this bad.slept on the sofa the 2nd night

We stayed for 2 nights and having never stayed in this type of accommodation before we were pleasantly surprised. The pools were all amazing and different, and not over crowded, in fact some were extremely quiet and relaxing considering it was August. The grounds were beautifully planted, with lots of trees and shade, and the housing and accommodation were well spaced. Our accommodation was large, modern and airy with comfy beds. There was also a lovely mix of nationalities, with there being no dominant group.

Intentionally misleading breakfast prices for short stays which is admittedly trivial but frustrating - advertised as €9.5 pp but was €15 pp. Wifi didn’t work in the room and we were never told the code to access the gate at night.

Would highly recommend having a car when staying here. Came in handy as we were at the back of the golf course.

Our apartment faced a busy road and it’s a 15 minute walk to the main area of the resort.

The facilities lacked slightly, would have appreciated conditioner provided also, as well as shower gel.

Apartment and room were lovely, convenient location. Aircon was great, bed was comfy and staff were lovely.
