We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PortugalIt's hard to criticise something if you select your options correctly. Hotel Baixa is not a 5* Spar but offers suitable accomodation for my needs. Parking in any centrally located hotel can be an issue - there is limited free parking nearby that can be taxing to find an open space. There is also paid parking nearby.
The hotel has a very central location literally minutes from the town square, restaurants, bars, shops and a short (albeit VERY steep) walk to Castelo da Bragança (a definite visit!!!). The reception staff were very helpfull and knowledgeable about the area and spoke good English (my Portugese is still basic and fractured!!). They were able to recommend some good cuisine options. There is wifi as part of your board ad lodging.

United KingdomThere are 4 floors. However, the lift only goes to the 3rd floor, which means carrying luggage to the next floor.
So far, my favourite accommodation on a month long trip. Location excellent, short walk to all the sights and less than a minute from the tourist office. Four stars for the hotel services. I only stayed two night, but my room was cleaned in between. Very clean, the bathroom fixtures actually shone. Bedroom and ensuite generous size. Having a desk was useful and my favourite fixture that is missing in most hotels... a luggage rack. Why don't all hotels have one? We are living out of our suitcase, why are we then expected to be squatting on the floor to rummage through our belongings. I had a lovely view of the town and mountains from the bedroom window (see photo). It was also nice to have a bathroom window. Drinking water was available in the room. Other drinks could be bought at a very reasonable price in the ground floor lounge. Breakfast was good value with varied choices. Staff was also kind and helpful.
