Great location easy to get to by train. In walking distance of lovely bars, restaurants and places of interest. Lovely friendly staff. Clean, quiet and spacious rooms- we got upgraded which was a lovely surprise.

The building is a historic building but the decoration is modern! Recently renovated. The location is very convenient, close to the city centre and walking distance to the city’s attractions and restaurants!

Great location. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good-sized bathroom. Nice hairdryer that is not attached to the wall. They give slippers, which is rare nowadays. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to dislike really. If I had to say something then it would be breakfast at the adjoining restaurant which apparently does not belong to the hotel but that's where you have breakfast. We ate there twice. The first morning the cooked food was barely warm which was disappointing when they charge €15 pp. The 2nd morning they hardly had any staff and we had to wait ages for coffee and also keep asking them to replace food as they ran out. It's a shame because this was the only issue we had.

The location is perfect for sightseeing around Porto. There are several metro stops within a few minutes walk. One of which takes you directly to the airport in 35 minutes for €2.25. The design and decor of the hotel are beautiful and the room we had was very quiet (room 305) The staff could not be faulted, very attentive and couldn't do enough to help. Will definitely be back.

The decor is sooo masculine in this hotel, way too dark and I wouldn't say inviting. It is not neutral, it is really masculine, even the smell of all toiletries was masculine. Other than that it is a very good place.

The breakfast pastries were lacking but overall very good. The air conditioning unit I had to work out as there were no instructions.

Ideal location close to major attractions with a Metro station metres away. Freshness of the hotel and extremely attentive staff. Breakfast was very good - choice and quality of food.

Can't think of anything we didn't like!

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the hotel was in the best location for all the main attractions and excursions we did. Great soundproofing and really comfy bed so had a fab night's sleep. Compared to some of the other fancier hotels this was excellent value - would stay there again so definitely recommend.

Room was a little dark. One bedside table had the room phone so it was not free to use. Pillows were slightly uncomfortable.

Central location, close to all major sights and transport links. Staff were so nice, attentive, and polite. The front staff helped plan our stay, going above and beyond with directions and transport suggestions. Fresh water every day in rooms. Clean room that was tidied every day. Tea/Coffee topped up in the room daily and mugs cleaned. Aircon worked really well - fast and is quiet.
