Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything exceeded our expectations. The room, the bathroom and beds were clean and comfortable. The location was quiet but a comfortable distance from the centre of town. Our hosts were super helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a slight delay with check in and despite this causing us absolutely no delay or trouble, we were gifted with a delicious complimentary breakfast, which was enough to cover three days. Highly recommend staying here!

FranceThe staff gave us a warm welcome at the first day, but contact them on line takes time and a lit difficult to make them understand what we need. personally i prefer staff on site. it would be nicer if the apartment is equipped with a laundry machine.
the location is very good, 20m to metro. there is a resto of BBQ not far, very good too. the room is tout neuf, very clean very cozy. recommended !

United KingdomIt is a spotless clean, new apartment in a very good location, 15 minutes walk by the center. You could walk to sightseening. It is also very comfortable and hosts have taken care of a lot of details. The breakfast is arriving in a simpa basket and contains a warm breads and fresh fruites. We enjoyed our stay.

Bulgariathe balcony is very small and impractical - you cannot sit or use it for else then a quick smoke standing. it would have been nice if there was a washing machine.
The place is very new and modern. it is very close to a metro station which makes it very easy to move around, but also a nice 15-20 min walk to the old town. the flat had a nice kitchen area with coffee machine and other small useful appliances and a fridge - all you need for a few days stay. the place was very spacious and clean, the bathroom was very big and nice, the bedroom was spacious with enough space to put your bags, the bed was very comfortable and we really managed to get good sleep there. There was an elevator in the building which makes it easier to get your bags to the flat. the tv allowed for casting from other devices or logging into your own streaming services - really cool. I really recommend this place!

HungaryFridge and boiler is in the same space where you sleep and operates super loud. I manually unplugged them for the night to have no noise coming from the compartent. Other than this, nothing else to mention.
Super new and modern accomodation with a fully equipped kitchen. Super quite in the middle of the city, close to the metro so was nice to come back for short naps even mid day. It was being renovated while we were there, but couldn't really hear anything, which was a big plus.
