We could make our own breakfast. Kitchen was sufficient. Welcome flowers and cookies was a nice touch. Good advice about restaurants and activities- we really appreciated the recommendations. Worked extremely well for us.

Clean, designed beautifully and excellent location to explore Funchal. Alexandra was an excellent host and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. She was super communicative.

The apartment was in the old part of the town which was good but meant there was no outlook as it was in a narrow street. Also the small courtyard garden was down a short steep flight of steps which my husband couldn’t manage. It was not a very attractive area.

Very well appointed to a high standard. Modern facilities. Comfortable. In a good location near restaurants, buses, taxis, markets etc.

Perfect location and a very well appointed and clean apartment. Despite being right on the Main Street of the old town it was very quiet at night with the bedroom at the rear. Our host stayed in regular contact and was extremely helpful with everything - her restaurant recommendations were spot on!

Great location, close to ocean, restaurants and sights. Despite being on a restaurant-lined pedestrian road, the apartment was soundproof and the bedroom in the back was quiet. Also loved the terrace off the bedroom.

Great appartment in the heart of Funchal in an area filled with restaurants. The area has a fantastic atmosphere. Our stay was perfect. Our host was friendly, kept great communication and the place was very clean and comfortable. Parking was a bit difficult but there is a parking garage around the corner. We stayed for two nights and highly recommend this place. Thank you for everything!

Great location, right in the old town away from the resorts. Restaurants literally lining the street below. Great check in and clean apartment with air con and a fantastic balcony.

Building opposite is two metres away, so leaving the blinds up means a view straight into the studio apartment. Some mesh/gauze curtains would help.

Good sized clean, modern and very comfortable studio right on Restaurant Alley and close to most places - town centre, bus station, cable cable, airport bus stop. Host very responsive, and finding/entering accommodation very straightforward. Even though there are restaurants right outside, the sound proofing is very good and the noise isn’t noticeable.

It is located at a very touristy and busy part of town. There are diners from a restaurant on either side of the door that you have to walk between every time you come and go.

Central location also means it's quite busy and loudish until late in the night. Cleanliness is okay, but not top notch (stray hairs in a few places, mouldy shower head). Parking very difficult.

Location is perfect as it's central. Spacious apartment, which is well furnished and equipped. Staff is very friendly, communication was very good, and they are super flexible on check-in and check-out. Altogether quite clean, except for a few minor things.

Unfortunately we needed to sleep with windows open and the street it’s quite noisy. I would also suggest to check the plumbing system since it was quite smelly. apart from this…all was simply perfect!

The apartment was so cozy and modern. Amazing bed, we slept so good and very clean. Spacious and very well located. Host will answer all your question in just few seconds no matter when you text her.

The apartment is above a restaurant so you can hear people talking in the evening, but it’s only quiet as the apartment is double glazed and the restaurant closes approximately 10pm. This would not put us off staying in this apartment again though.

Location was a perfect base in the old town. Very close to lots of restaurants and bars. Supermarkets, beach and cable car were less than a 5 minute walk away. Apartment had everything you need for self catering, was very clean and host was very friendly and answered any queries we had promptly. We did a tour of the west with ‘Madeira happy tours’ and a 25 fonts walk with ‘Madeira free spirit tours’, we would thoroughly recommend these tours.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

We particularly liked our location in the old town of Funchal. The apartment was clean, well provided for plus very quiet. Having a large balcony was also a bonus. It was great to be met by Alexandra who was especially helpful with providing us with restaurant ideas and car parking. Felt the organisation of the booking including the arrangements to meet the company representative in Funchal when we arrived went all very smoothly.
